This girl right next to me is definitely going to be the one and only mother of my children and the love of my life. THAT'S MY MANIFESTATION!
I cannot and I refuse to be a gone boy for a girl whose name I don't even know.
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!
"Stop looking at me like that,"
"Like what?"
"Like I am the only source of water in a desert,"
"What if you are?"
"Oh, please. Nna le wena*, together? Joke's still loading."
"Definitely, go palang*?"
She gives me that 'do I really have to explain' look. Which prompts to say, "When the joke is done loading, will you be my only source of water?"
She breaks into hysterics of laughter; I do not know if I should be amused or offended or both.
After she cools down, Daniel Caesar's Get You starts playing softly.
"Can I lay my head on your lap?"
I try to play it cool by responding back saying, "Sure thing, as long as I get to have a drink of whatever is in there."
Did she just roll her eyes at me? Or at least attempt to because that did not look like it. Amused by her attempt to roll her eyes, I quietly laugh to which she raises one of her eyebrows.
Every time I look into your eyes I see it
You're all I need
Every time I get a bit inside I feel it
She gazes towards the sky and suddenly my brain does not know how to act.
I would be clowned for life for acting like this if my friends knew, I shake my head with a smile on my face and continue gazing at her face while she gazes at the sky.
And I'll take some time
Just to be thankful
That I had days full of you, you-
Not yet Kemi, not yet, and yes I hope it winds down to good memories that will last forever and bind us together fore-
"Siso,"
I look down into her mesmerising eyes and raise my eyebrow as if to question why she called me.
"You still thinking about me?"
"Mhm," I respond wiggling my eyebrows. My finger fortuitously brushes against her pulse which happens to beat faster for the time being.
"O sharpo?"
She nods her head with a hint of a smile on her face which subconsciously makes me smile.
Mission accomplished, I guess.

A lot of these definitions always depend on the context of what is being said.
"...go palang"- "what gives" (in this context)
"O sharpo"-is the sPitori translation of "Are you okay?"
