After waking to a significantly cleaner and emptier cabin, barring the kitchen which seemed to be fully stocked with pots and a larder filled with items from his Inventory (and probably from previous gathering quests, now that he thought about it—the several acres of land that the System absconded with came to mind again), Mattheus got ready for the day.
He had headed into the nameless village donned in a plague mask again and sought out Iain, wanting to ask the man to send someone to the nearest military outpost with a letter to Marquess Snowe in care of his aide.
Mattheus had also told the hunter about having dealt with the cabin so the villagers no longer had to worry about it.
As the twenty-one-year-old trudged back to the Unnamed Cabin, he figured that Iain hadn't asked for more details despite the hunter clearly wanting to know because the other man recognized Mattheus as someone significant rather than just respectable.
