Mattheus looked at the building upon a hilled neighborhood at the tallest point, with a glass-domed enclosed gazebo on the roof barely visible from the street. Green plants spilled out from here and there on the roof and the building was somehow half-covered in vines of different species despite it supposedly being new.
"Was it necessary to make a completely new building from the ground up?" Mattheus nonetheless asked the man beside him. "There were no other preexisting places that fit my requirements?"
On the other side of the nobleman, his young assistant Liam cupped his hands in front of him and started fidgeting with his fingers awkwardly from the question. Liam's lavender eyes focused on his hands with a concentration level that screamed he knew the answer and did not want to be involved with explaining it to Mattheus.
