Mattheus and Brunilda were on a long-distance train, currently chugging through a rather open area of sunflower fields and grass. The flat track of land the train was going through was idyllic. They could already start smelling the faint hint of tropical flowers in the breeze and the scent of the ocean even though Basilea City was still more than an hour away.
"I haven't seen sunflowers in a while," the feline remarked as she stretched out to look through the window of their compartment. Brunilda was saved from the breeze whipping at her small face considering Mattheus had opened the window from the top.
The twenty-year-old was slouched slightly against the bench, fingers knit together and placed on his abdomen as he just relaxed in the privacy of the train compartment. He had been reading in the first half of the trip but was just taking in the change of scenery after they switched trains at Mecane.
