Asia turned and ran out of Fortune's room then shouted "Fortune hurry up and prepare for class, you always wake up late each and every Monday so just freshen up, we need to leave for class". Fortune sighed, she was about to chase Asia but then paused after hearing her words. she quickly turned and ran to the washroom.
"babe wake up, aren't you going for work?" Camilla was trying to wake up Terry who kept on lazing around on the bed, refusing to get up. She helplessly shook her head seeing how childishly he behaved.
"ok fine, if you don't want to move, it's fine. my lecturer will be here soon, here is my mother's account number. I will leave the rest to you". Camilla put the paper were she wrote her mother's account number on the side table and went out.
She only sat on the table for less than ten minutes, she heard the doorbell ring. Aunt Linda was around at this time and welcomed the guest.
Terry got himself ready to go out, got the paper with the account number. He walked out of the room, went to Camilla's side, and kissed her on the cheek before leaving just to make her feel shy then left.
The lecturer smiled "don't feel embarrassed, he's your husband after all" Camilla had no words, the woman believed they were married.
Terry went for work and being a Monday, it was a little busy...the road was full of cars that led to traffic but lucky enough, Terry still arrived at his office.
Hours passed by slowly and before he knew it, it was time for him to get off work, but Terry decided to work for a few more hours then remembered about Camilla's mother so he drove straight to the bank.
He didn't know exactly how much to send, he thought about it and decided to send her future mother-in-law $10,000. Anyways Terry's personal net worth was almost reaching a million dollars now including some other spare Visa cards that he owned of which he gave one to Camilla. 10,000 meant nothing to him. His illegal drug trafficking business would bring out a profit of 30,000-35,000 dollars every month which was alot of money while his advertising company which was the biggest advertising company in the city would bring out only 10,000-15,000 dollars every month.
He made the transaction and sent the money to Camilla's mother then drove straight home.
In the hotel room, Ariana was so depressed. She didn't feel like doing anything and her mood felt sour all day. she just wanted to cry, she couldn't stop herself from imagining the picture of herself being ravaged by that disgusting animal of a man.
Ariana now realized how shameless this man was, how can he stoop to the level of sleeping with young girls old enough to be his children. I am old enough to be his last-born daughter yet he wants to pound on me? such a worthless being.
Soon the old man would call and Ariana didn't even know how to put a sentence together.
On the other side, classes were done and Asia wanted to go to the mall so she directly called her driver "uncle, can you come over at my school, I want to go out".
The two girls waited for some time till twenty minutes later, they saw the car come in. Without further ado, they walked up to where the car was and got in. Fortune smiled silently which caught Asia's attention.
"Why are you smiling?"
Fortune spoke without hesitation, "Asia, you now own a car, don't you think you should learn how to use it? don't tell me you just want to be a sitting bumpkin, always being driven around by the uncle over here?".
Asia rolled her eyes, she didn't know why but she felt like Fortune had started to become as sarcastic as her annoying brother.
"Fortune please! you didn't have to make it sound so bad by using those words, I will learn don't worry about it".
Fortune smiled "well I am only saying this to your own best interest"
"uncle please take us to the mall". The driver started the engine and drove in the direction of the mall.
On the other side,
Camilla was trying to deal with a few questions that got her brain numb, she had been trying but she didn't seem to get it right, suddenly her phone rang, oh gosh! who could be calling me at this time....she looked at the caller ID, it was her mom, she smiled and answered the phone directly..
Before Camilla could say anything, she heard her mother's loud voice.
"Camilla! I just received a large sum of money. Did you by any chance send me this money? I don't know if there was probably some mistake somewhere. This is alot of money Camilla! I mean it's alot! Camilla's mother was so confused, she had never received such large amount of money in her life.
"Mom" Camilla called her mom in a calm voice.
Mrs. Shaw shook her head instead as if knowing what Camilla would say
"I am not hallucinating dear I... "mom! listen to me please, I asked Terry to send you some money. Why are you acting this way?"
Mrs. Shaw was dumbstruck, he...he..he sent 10,000 dollars?
"Camilla I just received 10,000 dollars, Camilla this is ten thousand dollars! i-i actually own ten thousand dollars" Mrs. Shaw couldn't believe it. Things just happened so fast.
Camilla smiled dryly, she honestly had no words. Terry never seemed to amaze her. He always did such things that would make her speechless.
"dear, is he the same boy you told me about last time?" Mrs. Shaw wanted to know her future son-in-law.
If he could dash out such large amount of money, I wonder how much he could give for my daughter's betrothal gift. Such a son-in-law, who could ask for anything else.
"yes Mom, he's the same boy I told you about. His a very respectful person and has really changed my life for the better. The only thing I can say is that you will personally see it yourself. Mom, I feel like I have matured in such a short period of time".
Mrs. Shaw kept nodding her head vigorously as if Camilla was standing in front of her.
