I am sorry for the very late update. It's so late because...ehm, at first I couldn't write anymore because of 'writers' block' or something like that. But then after a while, I was just too lazy to think of anything. But I decided I upload a chapter now regardless if it's good or not. I still hope it's ok...

You can see a young man flying through the sky at a neck-breaking speed while singing some song and looking happy.
"Man this song is really nice, I wish I could hear it again."

Some hours later Aether reached the gates of the city and entered. Walking through the streets and looking around he thought 'This city looks much more lively than in the anime. And the details! I love it. Hmm, I need a place to stay until the exam, let's ask around.'
So he walked over to a random person on the street. Or maybe not so random. The person he went over to is a beautiful young girl with red hair. Yes, it is Rebecca. Just three years younger.
So Aether now stood in front of her.
"Excuse me?"
"Hm?" The moment she saw Aether's smile and handsome face she blushed.
"Y-yes what do you want?"
Aether looked at her blushing face and smiled even more.
"Hello, I arrived in this town recently and don't know where I can stay at, do you maybe know a place?"
"Ehh-yes! I know a very good inn and I can lead you there if you want!" Rebecca said with a cute childish smile on her face.
"It would be an honor to be lead by a beauty like you." Aether said while bowing.
"*giggle* Yes, you should be honored! Now come I will show you the inn!"
So they left while Rebecca was talking about the town and a little about herself.

They arrive in front of a good-looking three-story building with a sign above that says 'Devils Bliss'. Well let's see, but first...
"Thank you young lady Rebecca for leading me here and explain me so much about the town, I hope we will see each other again."
"It was really fun, I hope we see us soon. Bye!" She ran off.
Aether waved her and turned around to enter the inn.
As he entered it was like you can imagine when you played fantasy games before. It was a bar-like atmosphere. There is a counter and small round tables everywhere in the room. There are some shady-looking guys who glare at me but there are also some who sit in a corner with a hood on and probably want to be mysterious. Some of them feel a little strong.
This floor is probably used as a restaurant and check-in at the same time.
Ignoring all the stares he went to the counter where a good-looking young woman with an apron was standing looking at me with a smile.
"Hello. I want to rent a room for three weeks straight."
"Good day, sir. Do you want breakfast and dinner included?"
"Hmm, I will just take breakfast. How much is it?"
"That's $$$ and $$$ coins, sir." All said with a smile.
"Wow, that's quite a sum." Even though Aether has enough money due to the much hunting and selling he did, it still hurts to lose this much at once. But that won't be a problem in the future because as a magic knight he will get filthy rich. I am already hyped for that dungeon. Even tho they would only discover it in three years, with my skills and knowledge, I will find it.
Anyway, she started talking again.
"It's so much because we are actually one of the, if not even the best inn around here. It's much cleaner and the food tastes better than in any other place. Plus you actually want to rent a room for three weeks straight, so of course it will be more expensive." As she finished speaking I thought about why there are these shady-looking guys and the like here if it's so good while looking around.
As if knowing I had this question she said "The most of them are guards."
"Ok"
I got my key to my room and went to where she said is my room and entered.
"It's pretty."
~{Timeskip 1-week}
"*sigh*~ Why did I come so early, it's fucking boring."
In this one week Aether met Rebecca two times and the first time she showed him the town, the second time Aether invited her to sweets which she happily accepted.
I don't exactly know when her parents will die but I will try my best to save them and protect that sweet happy smile on her face.
She is like my little sister back in the church.
"I will go hunting today." I jumped up and Ikofos appeared beneath my feet and I cooly landed on it. I could just ripp the space open and 'teleport' outside the town but flying at high speeds just feels nicer.
So I flew.

So short chapter today but I will upload tomorrow (maybe) one too!
