"My m-mother?"
His eyebrows pulled in together as he tried the word on his tongue. It was happening to him again, being introduced to a family but unlike the last time, this time he had unexplainable emotions running through him. He felt an unmistakable pull towards this girl and her eyes; her facial structure, it was a visual proof of her being related to him in some kind of way.
"Yes, your mother." The girl smiled at him and unlatched the door before them.
Stepping inside, his nostrils picked up a subtle scent that was familiar. It was saved somewhere in his memory but he couldn't put a finger on its origin.
The girl led him towards a room that was separated by a partitioning between it and the area that looked like a small kitchen. In the corner, there was something bundled up on the bed, looking like a small person or maybe something else.
