Among the joyous celebrations for the start of a new prosperous month, only two people were bemused. The lively night was unlike others. The full moon peeked down at the masses and the people danced under its bright gleam, around the fire that burned the old hay and their discarded belongings.
It was an old tradition in which people burned down their used out belongings, dried hay and hair of unmarried women who wished to be married soon or infertile women who seeked for a child. It was represented as getting rid of accumulated bad luck around the barren season of flooding and to make room for a new beginning.
After ending the court session earlier than usual, the Pharaoh brought Hellion to the celebrations with him. There was a platform specifically reserved for the Pharaohs from where they used to look at the celebrations in the great ground behind the Castle.
