Inside one of the secluded chambers of the Mawt Palace, an old man was sitting on the floor with his legs folded in front of him. His long black beard that was just present under his chin was gathered together by a gold bangle at the base of it. He was wearing a headpiece made out of snake's skin and his eyes were heavily smoked around with black charcoal.
In front of him sat the Pharaoh himself above a small stool that looked fancy. The old man was rocking back and forth, his eyes closed as his lips moved swiftly, chanting something inaudible.
Suddenly he stopped and his eyes snapped open as he said, "I am afraid, Your Majesty, but he is one of them."
The Pharaoh stood up furiously and flipped the stool he was sitting on. The stool hit the side wall and broke into pieces, the emeralds etched into its outer surface scattering here and there.
