He was sprinting through the forest like a madman. There wasn't a corner he had spared. He could sniff her scent lingering in the air but she was nowhere to be seen, nowhere to be found. She was definitely here just a few moments ago then where did she go? She couldn't go much far in this little time.
There was a certain spot from where her scent had just vanished in thin air and was no longer continuing in any direction. His heart was ready to bounce out of all the restrictions his body was putting around it to keep it inside and sane. What if some wild animal attacked her? What if something bad happened and he was late? He couldn't help but think about all the worst scenarios.
"Dia!" He yelled out her name and then kept on chanting it like it was some poem to read.
"Please come out if you are hiding somewhere."
"If it's a joke it's a very bad one. I don't like it." He tried to sound angry but all that dripped down his tone was desperateness.
