Chapter One.
In the self-apartheid town of Mvezo, not a day goes by without a cry for freedom. Darkness had turned its gory face on Mvezo. Men, women and children all cry "Nceda Mvezo, Nceda Eastern Cape" "Help Mvezo, help Eastern Cape.
But Mvezo was not the only victim of this old age darkness; just that Phumlani, Soweto and Transkei were all being subjugated by thier long time enemy Gadla Nkosi Mgakhuwelu, the horrific warrior and leader of the Mpumalanga people.
Mvezo was once the oasis of Eastern Cape, until Gadla Mphankanyiswa married Nosekeni of Qunu.
