Sua and I were walking through the hallways having just arrived at school, I kept giving Sua worried glances which she eventually noticed.
"Spill it, what's wrong?" she asked, looking down at me.
"Well, it's just that... I'm wondering if Seol's plan actually worked?"
"I'm not sure, Siyeon is unpredictable after all." Sua said, sucking on the icy-blue popsicle in her hand.
I nodded and decided to text Seol and Siyeon to see if they had arrived yet. "Oh Sua, Siyeon asked in the group chat if we're here."
"Answer her then." Sua replied and I started typing the moment she did.
"Hey, did you hear about the argument that happened earlier?" A girl with black hair suddenly asked a girl with blonde hair, who were both walking behind us.
"Omg no, what?" The blonde responded enthusiastically, leaning closer.
"Well apparently, earlier, this guy and girl were having a conversation by the lockers when suddenly another girl yelled 'what did you just say you jerk?!' at the girl who was with the guy, then she threw her bag straight at the girl's face and she started bleeding." The black-haired girl told her as both Sua and I started walking slower eavesdropping on their conversation, being let in on the school's latest drama, both snickering at the last part. "It was a complete mess, no one knew what they were even talking about, something about them betraying her and winning a bet, Oh yeah, I just remembered she didn't only throw her bag, she even threw 100 dollars at the her."
I tilted my head to the side, why did the scene she described sound so familiar?
"Is it just me or does that sound familiar to you?" Sua then asked me the very question I had been wondering.
"Yeah... " I nodded as we both continued to listen to their conversation.
"Oh my... do you know who they were?"
"Not really, but I think the girl's name began with an 's' it was something like Sieon... Sion... Siyeon, yes that was it Siyeon!" The blacked-haired girl expressed making both me and Sua abruptly stop walking; they both bumped into us as we turned around in unison.
The black-haired girl rubbed her head before looking at us in anger. "Hey! Watch where your goin—"
"What happened after that?!" I interrupted in a panic, grabbing her shoulders, surprising her.
"What the— who are you guys?"
"That doesn't matter right now, what did the other girl look like?!" Sua questioned and I could see the worry in her eyes.
"Okay, I'll tell you just calm down, geez, and will you let go of me! You're ruffling my shirt!" she expressed, aggressively removing my hands, glaring at me as she fixed her clothes.
I then gave her an apologetic look and mouthed a small 'sorry' to her.
"What's all the fuss about anyway?"
Sua hesitated for a moment unsure whether or not to tell them, I could see that she hoped desperately that it wasn't them.
"We're worried that it might be our friends who argued." I told them instead.
"Ah..." The black-haired girl nodded. "In that case, the girl had purple shoulder length hair was wearing a white over sized dress shirt, blue ripped denim jeans and black boots."
Though we did not know what Seol had worn to school that morning, we still knew that it was her based on the hair colour and the style she described.
"We have to find Siyeon." I said looking up at Sua and she nodded.
"Where did the other girl go?"
"I can't say for sure but she ran away going in the direction of the roof, she could be there." The black-haired girl told us and we both looked at each other before running in that direction, forgetting to even thank the two girls for their help.

I came to the one place in the school where I was guaranteed to be alone, away from everyone else.
I couldn't believe Seol. "Jerk." I mumbled tears still spilling from my eyes, as I looked over the edge of the building.
Though I was angry at her I couldn't help but wonder if I was too harsh with my words or if she was okay after I threw my bag at her.
"Stop it Siyeon, she betrayed you, she deserved it." I told myself aloud. "Still... I... shouldn't have done that to her." I started to feel a little guilty.
The door to the roof suddenly flung open, as it hit the wall, with a loud *BANG* causing me to immediately turn around, "Siyeon! Siyeon!" I heard two female voices call out to me, I then saw both Joey and Sua running towards me in a hurry.
"Siyeon, there you are!" Sua said immediately tackling me with a hug, causing me to let out a 'yelp' at her sudden action.
"We were so worried." Joey added, hugging me as well. "We heard that you fought with Seol, what happened? why did you guys fight?" she asked releasing me from her embrace as Sua did the same, both of them giving me room to breathe.
"She tricked me, she made someone take me out just so she could win the bet and— wait, did you guys know about this? Did you deceive me too?"
They looked at each other in confusion before Joey began. "Deceive you? Siyeon, you misunderstood, what really happened was—"
Sua nudged her arm, preventing Joey from finishing her sentence, whispering something to her.
"Yes, we admit the bet was Seol's idea, but shouldn't you let her explain her actions before getting mad at her?" she reasoned with me.
She was right, but I don't think I'll be able to do that yet.
"You two should leave, I would like to be alone right now." Joey pouted upon hearing my words indicating her desire to stay with me longer.
Sua took Joey's hand comforting her. "Okay, we'll leave, give what I said some thought and Siyeon... remember that whatever Seol did... it was never meant to hurt you." Sua said one last time before taking a protesting Joey along with her, exiting the roof leaving me alone to ponder on her words.
...
After receiving the note from the nurse I returned to class as instructed, I had changed my shirt to an orange hoodie I had brought with me, the moment I walked through the classroom door all eyes were on me.
A roar of whispers erupted as they saw my bandaged forehead, I simply ignored them and sat down.
The moment I did Kai-ji turned around to face me —as he was sitting in front of me— and arrogantly said, "I told you so."
"Shut up, I'm not in the mood for this right now." I opened my text book to a random page and started reading it, ignoring him.
"You should've listened to me, maybe none of this would've happened, but as usual Seol, you're incapable of listening to others." Kai-ji said, continuing to taunt me.
"Shut up, while I'm asking nicely." I threatened through grit teeth, glaring at him as his words irked me further.
"Why should I shut up? Because I'm right?" He continued to push me and I tried my best to not let his words get to me, I closed my eyes and took deep breaths. "Everything is your fault, you can only blame yourself—"
"Fine! Yes! You were right! So what?! Do you want a medal or something?!" I expressed, slamming my hands on the table as I bore holes through him with my eyes, finally losing my temper.
All the students in the classroom looked at us upon hearing the loud noise, thankfully the teacher was not present.
It's not like the words coming out of his mouth were lies, they were true, I knew that, but I still didn't like him pointing it out, out loud; It was obvious to me, I heard it already, I just wanted to go the rest of the day without hearing it again until I had to faced her, until... I faced Siyeon.
Kai-ji simply stared back at me before smirking. "This looks like it hurt." he said, almost sounding like he sympathized with me, But no— I knew he was provoking me on purpose, touching my forehead as he did and that, that, made me mad.
I scuffed before shoving his hand out of my face, he was really asking for it.
I stood to my feet and grabbed him by the shirt, raised my hand, and was about to punch him. "Seol, calm down!" Sun-hoon intervened catching my hand in time, before I even had the chance to touch him.
"Let. Go." I growled squirming, trying to free my wrist from his grasp.
"Seol, he was just joking, please calm down," Sun-hoon begged in a desperate attempt to restrain me. "Everyone is staring at you." he then whispered to me.
At his words I looked around before releasing an almost psychotic laugh. "Well then, they can all watch as I kick his as—"
"Siyeon! That's enough!" Baekhyun interrupted pulling me away from them. "Seol, you should stop, friends shouldn't fight." he said, holding my shoulders gently sitting me down in my seat —in front of Kai-ji.
"Who says we're friends?! Who?!" I yelled giving Kai-ji the stink eye. "I get that he's right, I got that, but does he have to rub it in like that? When I'm already aware of my mistakes, he's just... making me... feel worst." I mumbled the last part averting my gaze from Kai-ji.
"I'm sorry," Kai-ji apologized making me look at him surprised. "I didn't think you'd take it this seriously, I was just messing with you, I should've stopped earlier."
I wasn't expecting him to be so nice about it and admit that he was wrong.
"You drive me crazy, seriously." I sighed. "But... how did you guys find out about it so quickly?" I asked as it suddenly occurred to me because I hadn't said anything to them.
"The entire school knows, you know word travels fast around here." Sun-hoon replied.
"Ah." I nodded. "I thought Baekhyun told you or something."
"He did tell us the details and not the 'cheating boyfriend with girlfriend's friend' version we got from the others." Kai-ji commented.
"I'm sorry, the what?" I asked in confusion at his words.
"It's better if you don't know." Sun-hoon said patting me on the shoulder in a sympathising way causing me to look at him strangely.
"What in the world is that supposed to mea--"
"Settle down students, everyone return to their rightful places." I was interrupted as the teacher announced her presence.
...
I opened my locker and placed my books inside, it was finally lunch time and the halls were already flooded with students, eager to make it to the lunch line first.
"Hey, did you hear?" A female student asked her friend as they conversed beside me, their conversation made me pause my actions as I eavesdropped on them.
"About what?"
"Apparently... there's a very rich heir going to our school."
"Really?! I hope he's handsome and single." Her friend dreamily gushed with hopeful eyes.
"Even if he is handsome, what does that have to do with you?" The female student asked giving her friend a quizzical eyebrow.
"So I can date him, obviously."
"Not if I beat you to it!" The female student challenged and they both glared at each other in silence for a brief moment before bursting out in laughter making me roll my eyes.
"But on a serious note, I really do hope he's handsome."
"Of course he's handsome!"
"How do you know? Have you seen him?"
"Well no... I haven't, no one knows who he is, just that he goes to school here, we don't even know which company he's the heir to, but I did hear from an 'incredible reliable source' that his last name is Park."
"Seriously?! Well that narrows it down to about half the boys at this school, we're never going to find him." Her friend pouted, hitting her head against the locker in disappointment.
The female student giggled. "Let's hurry and go to lunch." She patted her friend on the back as they both left.
I slammed my locker door shut with a sigh, adjusting my bag strap on my shoulder, I made my way to the bleachers so I could enjoy my lunch alone.
