In the Fortress of Karillon, Ezekiel and Jerissa were warmly welcomed by a group of maidservants dressed in sparkling gowns. One could tell about the riches accumulated by the Stradmore Clan judging by how much gold there was inside the fortress. Even the walls had small pieces of gold ingots embedded on them. And on the way, Ezekiel and Jerissa saw how every person dressed like nobles. Everyone dressed classy.
The two were led to the grand tea room where only special visitors were accommodated. Princess Celestina had her maidservants bring to them the finest quality of tea. It was a truly expensive tea which cost ten gold per pack!
"This mint tea is great," Ezekiel commented. With what was served, he could say that the princess was sincere in her hospitality.
"I am pleased that you like it," the princess then turned to Jerissa, who silently sipped her tea. From her posture, she guessed she was not of nobility. "May I ask… What is your relationship with King Ezekiel?"
