Chapter 121 - "The Origin"

In Leoniva Palace, King Ezekiel faced King Regent Adam in the throne room. It was only the two of them, and everyone else waited outside the hall.

"Greetings, father," Ezekiel lowered his head with respect.

Adam asked him to rise, then uttered, "You have completed a month of isolation. Please tell me… what you learned these past few days."

"I realized that as a king, I hold the biggest responsibility for the welfare of the people. Of course, I knew it ever since, but now, more than ever, I felt the weight on my shoulders. I should have been more careful with my actions. And my judgment… must not be clouded."

"I see… It's good that you've realized this. What do you plan on doing afterwards?"

"I need to make sure that the people in our Nation are well-fed… in both Leoniva and our vassal nation, Utopion. I want both lands to prosper under my rule."

Adam nodded, "What you said is true. However, aren't you forgetting something?"
