That night, the rebels and the bandits conquered Maro's previous castle which stood before the sea. They knocked out each mercenary roaming around the beach, and secured the area.
Two large, floating vessels appeared against the mist. The group waited for them to land on the sandy shores.
"Apologies for keeping you waiting. We're from Marcissa Kingdom!"
Some men dressed in leather waistcoats brought down wide, thick wooden planks.
Upon seeing the readiness for boarding, Samson led his comrades towards the galleons. "They're here! Everyone, line up!" he yelled. Through the help of their visitors, the group stepped on the wooden planks and rode the vessels.
Each with a drawstring bag and a weaved, vine-made basket as their baggage, the rebels and the bandits followed the instruction. Half of the chosen group went aboard the first galleon, while the other half rode the second galleon.
