The next two months went by in a whirl. Maria and Arthur spent every day together, and moments spent apart were few and far in between. Occasionally he would get pulled away for meetings with his father, and she would be pulled away for fittings for potential wedding dresses being made by the local royal dressmakers.
Despite being more than excited to get married in just one short month, the reality that getting married also came with the price of becoming Queen of France made Maria nervous. She was prepared to rule Greece, but with how different France was, she didn't know if she yet knew enough about her new home to rule it properly.
