"I'd really just rather stay in bed with you," Arthur told Maria as he stroked his fingers up and down her arm. Vince had just come to inform the Prince and Princess that dinner was about to be served, and Arthur had immediately thrown his head back in frustration.
"I'd rather that too, but we must go. It'll only be a little while that we have to share our time," Maria replied.
Their bodies were still angled on their sides so that they could face each other while they spoke. Maria had been resting her head on her hand, but she pushed it down onto the mattress so that she could sit upright. Arthur groaned in response, and moved behind her so that he could wrap his arms around her and capture her in his embrace.
"Two more minutes," he argued in a whiny voice before he kissed the side of her neck.
"One more minute," Maria countered. She leaned into his bear hug, and tipped her cheek sideways against the top of his head.
