Maria woke up with a huge migraine and stomach ache the next morning from all of the wine she had the night before. The second her eyes opened, she felt the need to expel whatever was in her stomach, so she ran to the wastebasket in her bathroom and vomited everything that she ate and drank the night before with Julien.
By the time she was done, she was covered in a thin layer of sweat from exertion, so she laid her face on the cold floor to cool down. She felt horrible and only hoped that she would be a little more put together by the time Lynne and Claire showed up. She'd hate to give them something new to gossip about.
