The air between Abel and the five powerful ground rats was tense. The hateful glares of the beady eyed ground rats bore into Abel and Breeze, but the two of them easily shook off the feeling that tried to suppress them.
"Ha. Do you think you stand a chance against the combined might of us?" Breeze snarled viciously at the ground rats, "Come!"
The Gnoll's statement was the match that lit the fuse. The five rats leaped into action as they used their superior numbers to circle the duo, before lashing out with their tails.
Breeze easily leaned to the side, dodging the two tails that were aimed at him. He was just that much stronger than them that they looked as if they moved in slow motion. Ever since Abel had started using the cores of other magic beasts from the Second Floor to strengthen the beasts that had chosen to follow him, they had all grown rapidly.
