At that moment, a cloud of dark, dust-like fragments appears all around Seraphine - an emanation of a portentous retaliation that will soon be entailed by the surge of chaos.
"Dark... magic...?!" her predator bolted out loud, utterly shocked the instant she recognized the kind of power that she started feeling from her out of nowhere.
"You're a user of dark magic?!"
Right then, the wasteland monster used one of her hands to bury her fingers in her hair before pulling her head up by force to make her look at her. As soon as she did that, though, her victim came back to her senses at last. She quivered at the stimulation of the nascent yet vivacious wisp of shadow that began to form within her.
Then came nine writhing, tenebrous appendages that sprouted out of her back in the form of these sturdy yet elastic, coal-black tails that stretch out all the way above and hover over her.
"Huh?! What in the world?!"
