Seraphine was expecting a crowd, but she never expected that she'd find Sapphire Palace bustling with a huge one as soon as she and Eric returned from their two-day vacation.
After stepping out of the carriage, they held each other's hand and stared at the assembly in astonishment. Going by the thrilled and ecstatic looks on their faces, they can tell that they are already aware - it seems that news spread fast around here.
It was Claudette who welcomed the couple first, followed by Clement who was at her side the whole time.
"Seraphine…!" she cried as she ran to Seraphine before slipping one arm around her and the other around Eric.
"Oh, congratulations, both of you! I'm so happy for you!"
He glanced incredulously at Seraphine for a moment, unused to being touched by anyone other than her. But when Eric saw her looking quite amused, he couldn't help but laugh a little.
