Clement strode into Eric's office like it was now his own, draped cape flowing from his back and leather boots thunderous against the floor.
Claudette never saw the Master Thief in personal before. His expression of boredom was something she did not quite expect. So were his good looks. He seems apathetic and impassive, though. It makes his title all the more daunting.
"You're late," Eric said, voice flat.
"By five minutes. I know. Some shitty brat knight held me up," Clement complained before he stopped behind the other chair, placing his hands on its back and leaning his weight forward in a casual stance.
Claudette bristled but held her tongue. The gall of this man for treating her like air.
"I had hoped to speak with you briefly before we commenced this meeting," Eric continued slowly, a little irritated at this lack of manners, and only then did Clement address Claudette.
"Good day to you, Princess."
Her brow twitches.
