Pink Fist is walking on the streets. she didn't eat much for breakfast before leaving her house. ten days ago the heads of the Council of Committee for the Hero Rights also known as the CCHR implemented a law in which low level Heroes were given orders to patrol the streets and to report any suspicious activity.
Pink Fist is walking around tired of everything. Jurgen was driving on that street and he stops his car to say hello to her. Jurgen gets out of the car and he asks her if her patrolling time is over. Pink Fist tells him that she has two more hours and at night she has to patrol another four hours.
Jurgen takes a pack of cigars out of his jacket. he puts one cigar on his mouth and he offers a cigar to her. Pink Fist takes the cigar. Jurgen takes a lighter out of his pockets and he lights the cigar. he smokes looking at the floor.
Pink Fist tries to smoke but she accidentally swallows the smoke and she coughs as she tries to breath. Jurgen takes the cigar from her fingers. he looks at the bright sky for a moment as he thinks in what has been his life.
Pink Fist tells him that since captain King left she has notice that he has been acting strange. Pink Fist was scared for him but now he seems more relieved even better than he usually looks. Jurgen laughs to think that even when he is not good at expressing his feelings others can read him.
Jurgen stops smoking. he trows the cigar on the floor. he steps on it. Jurgen tells Pink Fist that he had to deal with a personal problem but everything is now resolve. he even smiles for a brief moment. Jurgen enters on his car and he looks on the back of his car where is a man tied up with a rope. the man is cover on blood and all beat up.
"don't even think about making a noise or I kill you here and now."
said Jurgen with a peaceful smile.
Jurgen drives to an abandoned warehouse. he looks around to make sure that no one is in there. he drags the man out of his car and he kicks him a few times. Jurgen yields at him asking him who he is (the man he is holding is the one who has been sending him messages about knowing his identity.)
the man tells him that he is just a pawn. he tells Jurgen that if anything happens to him he is going to be in serious problems. the man tells him that his boss in going to arrive on the city soon. his whole lie is going to be uncover soon and he is going to pay the price for living a life that doesn't belong to him.
Jurgen pulls his gun out and he shoots at that man multiple times. Jurgen throws up feeling guilt. Jurgen didn't have a choice but to kill him if that means he can stay for a bit longer living the life of a dead man.
later on Mark C Miller Jr's office...
Mark is taking care of some important documents about certain laws that can be beneficiary or inconvenient to him. Jonathan Miller enters in the office of his father. Jonathan yields at his father letting him know that he heard that he has been doing certain illegal deals and people are talking about it.
Mark tells to his son that he has to calm down. Jonathan doesn't listen and he yields louder. Mark stands up and he slaps his son. Mark tells to his son that he has done what he needed to do for him.
"you have never been a good husband nor a good father. why do you pretend to care when you have never care for anyone who is not you."
yields Jonathan feeling tired of his father.
"I am sorry Jonathan. if you want we can try to fix our relationship. we can start from zero, so we can behave like a real family."
said Mark with good intentions.
"are you sure that those are not empty words from a man who doesn't know the meaning of love. I am so tired of this bullshit of the perfect family when none of us are perfect. I am as broken as you are because that is the way you teach me to be.... you wanted so bad to create someone identical to you that you forced your ideals on me, you made me like this, unable to feel like a normal person should feel."
"I am sorry son, I want to be a better father. lets try to be a real family. lets try to reconnect with each other.... I, I am really sorry. my father wanted a strong son who can be a real man and he teach me to be this way. I thought that by being this way I was doing the right thing. I thought I was been a father."
"okay, I need to leave father. a hero has a job to do so I can't stay."
Jonathan leaves. Mark takes a Cuban cigar and he starts smoking. a tear falls from his left eye. he tries to no cry and control his emotions. he curses the world for not letting him experience the love that his own father denied to him until his death.
Mark stands up. he walks in circles thinking about money. he feels better and he stops moving. he receives a call from Bloodstain. Mark knows that if he doesn't do what he was told he is going to be killed but if he doesn't stop Bloodstain he is going to eventually kill his son. his son isn't going to give up on his feelings easily.
Mark is thinking in a way in which he can fulfill his promise to those men and also avoid his son getting in danger. he then thinks that the only possible solution is to kill Fumiko. if he kills her neither his son nor Arturo are going to be in danger.
in the meantime on the Esposito Mansion.....
Alberto Esposito is sitting behind a desk drinking coffee. Viktor is walking around playing with a toy airplane. Alberto calls a butler and asks him to do something about Viktor. Alberto didn't wanted to take care of the creature but Professor Villan himself ask for the favor and he couldn't deny a favor to him.
Viktor breaks an expensive lamp by accident. he says he is sorry. Alberto is really irritated by the actions of a deformed man with thousands of souls inside who also behaves like a child. Viktor hugs him as he asks for forgiveness.
Alberto calls to all his butlers and he ordered them to take that 'atrocity' away from him and to entertain him as he tries to take a break from everything and enjoy of silence. Viktor is taken away by the butlers. Alberto sighs.
"damn doctor Villain you better pay me back for taking care of this human waste of energy. I hope the butlers aren't going to be in danger with that aberration near them. damn hiring new butlers is expensive but is even more expensive when it is about dead butlers. well I have enough money to pay for funerals."
Alberto finish drinking his coffee. he stands up and he walks around of the mansion. he hears horrible inhuman screams. Alberto runs following the scream. he arrives in front of a room. he opens the door and he sees the butlers playing with Viktor and the screams were actually laughter.
Viktor pulls Alberto inside of the room. he asks Alberto to play with them. the butlers are scared and they ask him to stop. Alberto tells to the butlers that it is fine. he doesn't have anything to do. Viktor is happy and he laughs.
"I am glad to know that you all are okay. for one second I thought that thing had mistaken you for burgers. at least it is smart enough to know the difference between food and people."
said Alberto in a sarcastic tone.
Alberto sits in a chair as he looks at his butlers (they all are happy and smiling for the first time since they step inside of the mansion.) Alberto feels jealous to see that his employees are having more fun with a strange deformed man than with him their boss.
"I feel like I am going to regret this once the owner comes back for his pet. I mean, I am already regretting this so much, like so much."
said Alberto trying to hide his emotions.
Viktor sits next to Alberto and he tells him that he knows that he dislikes him but he also wants to let him know that he is not going to give up and he wants to do anything so they can become friends in a near future.
later at midnight on the streets of the city.....
Pink Fist is walking on the streets. she was on her night shift looking around of the streets to keep the city safe. she was tired and all that she wanted to do at this moment was to go back to her house and watch some funny movies. she looks at a strange man with a mask with the number seven on it. for some reason she felt fear and she tremble with just looking at this man.
she had a feeling that he might be a dangerous criminal. she could be wrong like half of the time, but if she is wrong then why is she feeling this inhuman feel with just looking at the mask of the man. she knew deep inside of her that he wasn't dangerous, he was danger itself.
Pink Fist thinks for a moment about the right thing to do in this kind of situation. if she calls for backup and he is innocent she would be suspended most likely. if she ignores this feeling of horror then she would be no better than the corrupted officials of the city. and finally if she goes after him she can put her life in danger. there was no right answer in something so trivial as interrogating a stranger.
Pink Fist tells to herself that she is a Hero and that she has to behave like a Hero if she wants to be a real Hero. she can't keep running away from her responsibilities or then she would never be able to prove that she is as good as any other Hero.
Pink Fist walks behind the stranger and she calls him. she tries to stop the stranger. Lucky-Hit notice that there was someone who was able to feel the darkness inside of his heart (not really but he is so dramatic sometimes.) Lucky-Hit looks at her sideways. he remembers that he saw her once with Arturo.
"excuse me can you please stop. mister you seem suspicious and I am trying to do my job."
Lucky-Hit turns at his right. he walks a few steps. he is in front of her. if he wanted he could kill her and disappear and no one would ever know that he was ever there. the only reason she is still breathing is because he cares for the people who is close to Arturo and he doesn't want to push him (not jet.) he wants Arturo to be happy for now.
"do you know my name?"
Pink Fist felt like in the den of a savage beast when she heard his voice when he asked something so simple. she could tell that she was too weak to even do something. she walks backwards. she couldn't even look directly at his eyes. she looks down at the floor.
"no sir, I don't know your name."
said Pink Fist closing her eyes by instinct.
"if you don't know my name then there is no reason for you to fear for your life. I do have to warn you that I am not a forgiven man. if you try to stop me ever again then don't blame me if you lose your life."
said Lucky-Hit in a soft tone of voice that sounded terrifying.
Pink Fist opens her eyes and he was gone. he disappear like a ghost that was never there. she looks at the watch on her left hand. there were ten minutes left before her shift was over. she sights and then she leaves without thinking twice. she had enough scares for one single night.
