Jonathan is in a gym right now. he is doing a lot of exercise to be strong enough to beat Arturo the next time he is in front of him. there are a few ladies and gentlemen taking pictures of him and even recording him doing exercise. Jonathan smiles (he forgot to take his Hero mask off when he entered on the gym so is obvious that more than one person recognized his mask) Jonathan offers to take pictures with them.
in the same gym is Aristide "Short-tempered" Bellucci doing exercise thinking that with a little bit of exercise his body would be like the body of a bodybuilder. he wants to be ready to go against the other King Pins in the city. Blind Thief is at his side making sure that no one dares to attack him while he is doing exercise.
also in the same gym is Arturo watching movies on his phone while Daisuke is doing exercise (Daisuke likes to do exercise once in a while to keep his body in a good shape. he always invites Arturo who is enemy of any type of exercise or sports that requires of him moving his body) Arturo is asking his friend what is the point of doing exercise if he doesn't even have a girlfriend.
Jonathan is drinking one of those nutrition green drinks. he is smiling at all of his fans and his smile is easily erased when he looks at Arturo the man who is trying to steal his woman (those are his own comments and nobodies else's comments) Jonathan tries to pretend to be fine in front of his fans. he can't lose the support nor care from the city because if nobody else has faith on him his power would become useless.
Arristide stops doing exercise after twenty-seven minutes and he sits down. Blind Thief asks him if he is going to keep doing exercise and Aristide admits that he doesn't need of any exercise if he has bodyguards who are fit and ready to die for him. he has totally and absolutely give up on having the body of a bodybuilder and he has understood that he isn't compatible with the word 'exercise.'
Arturo puts a cigar on his mouth and he closes the eyes and while he is waiting for his friend to be over with his routine, a guy dress as one of those motorcycle gang members with huge mustache included steps in front of him. the guy tells to Arturo that he wants to talk with him alone in the bathroom with his friends. Daisuke asks Arturo if he is going to need help. Arturo tells him to get the cleaning products ready and some of those trash bags that are resistant enough to not break.
Arturo follows the man to the bathroom with an innocent smile. inside of the bathroom there are another five guys dress in the same fashion and Arturo even thinks that they look like clones with even the same mustache and hairstyle. they all are holding knives and another instruments. Arturo knows so well the meaning of this but for him is just too easy to beat guys like them that it has become almost laughable to see tough guys with no power trying to take him down.
Jonathan saw Arturo going to the bathroom with the guy from the bar. Jonathan feels nervous and he fears that people would know about what he did while he was drunk. Jonathan walks slowly towards the bathroom expecting to find Arturo still alive. he doesn't want a dead person to disturb his sleep. Jonathan looks at Aristide who is also going to the bathroom. he tries to stop him but he is too slow.
Aristide opens the door and both of them look at the bathroom completely covered of blood. there are human parts everywhere on the floor and Arturo is holding a man who was cut in half. Arturo is completely covered on blood and he can't find an excuse so he decides to pull both of them inside of the bathroom. he puts a knife in the hands of Jonathan and Aristides and he puts some blood and body parts on top of them. Arturo takes a picture of them.
"now if any of you tries to snitch I had evidence of you holding a murder weapon and covered on blood. in the eyes of the world I am the victim here."
Daisuke gets inside of the bathroom with the cleaning products. Arturo puts Jonathan and Aristide to clean the whole bathroom while he is taking his clothes off and washing his hands and face. Daisuke leaves and comes back latter with clean clothes.
"I hope you two behave like professionals. remember the motto of a professional. no evidence, no crime. now said it with me no evidence, no crime."
on the streets of the city...
Fumiko is in a car with Jurgen who is driving to the house of a witness of a crime. Jurgen puts a cigar on his mouth. he puts some sunglasses on. Fumiko asks him about the case that they are investigating and he tells her that it has to do with a man who is the principal suspect of a series of theft of corpses on the local graveyard.
Fumiko puts a pen on her mouth and she chews on it (that is something that she does when she is nervous) Jurgen holds her right hand and he tells her that everything is going to be fine. Jurgen stops in a gas station to buy a coffee and then he comes back inside of his car. there is no day that Jurgen doesn't drink coffee.
Jurgen receives a call informing him of another corpse stolen from the graveyard. this case is strange and there is the possibility that this isn't just the case of a sick man who likes to play with dead bodies but it might become something bigger and the only thing in which he can think is that he wishes for Fumiko to be safe.
after some time they arrive in front of some old buildings. Jurgen gets out of his car and he looks at the dark clouds. Fumiko follows him inside of an old building. they walk upstairs in search of a department that belongs to an old lady who was a possible witness of one of the multiple crimes committed by the individual that they are investigating as the prime suspect on this case.
they stop in front of department number 44c. Jurgen knocks on the door. after the longest ten minutes an old lady opens the door. the old lay seems to be kind and sweet while she asks them to enter inside of her department with her voice so soft that sounds like the whisper of a ghost. the old lady offers them tea. Fumiko and Jurgen accept. Jurgen asks the kind old lady for coffee instead of tea and the old lady tells him to wait.
after a few minutes the old lady gets out of the kitchen holding the coffee with her right hand and the tea with her left hand. she puts both cups on the table and she sits slowly waiting to know why a nice young couple visited her home out of nowhere. Jurgen asks her about the prime suspect in the case of the robbery of corpses.
"oh my goodness sweaty. yes I saw that barbaric beast dragging that dead body. if you show me a picture I can identified him with this golden memory of mine. oh sweaty I am turning 92 in another two months and my memory haven't failed me once."
said the old lady feeling proud of her great memory.
"thanks ma'am."
said Jurgen a man who adores elderly people.
"biscuit you can called me mommy but not ma'am."
said the nice old lady flirting and winking at Jurgen.
they show pictures of the man to the old lady and she tells them that he is the one. she even talks in detail about the things that she saw and two tattoos that she saw on his arm. Jurgen looks at many pictures trying to find one in which he isn't using a long sleeve t-shirt until he find one and he sees the two tattoos that the old lady described.
Jurgen thanks the old lady and he tells her that her coffee has been the best coffee he has ever drank. the old lady blushes and she asks him to not give her a heart attack. Fumiko thanks the old lady and she leaves first followed by Jurgen. they are now sure that the prime suspect is not a suspect anymore but the culprit.
on they way out of the building Jurgen makes a call and he seems to be really nervous. he tells to Fumiko that she can take a small break while he tries to find the whereabouts of the man. Fumiko tells him that she didn't became a police woman to lose time in pointless things but to capture criminals. Jurgen smirks feeling proud of the woman that he loves. he can't deny it anymore, he loves that woman for her strong personality.
"I never though there would be a time in which I would say something like this, but I have to confess that I am the jealous type of man. I feel jealousy every time that I see those wolves on lamb clothing trying to get close to you and all I can do is hold my anger and wish for you to look on my direction."
"right now I am more interested in healing from my past relationship than dating. but I can't deny that I have a crush on you."
somewhere on a dark alley....
a man wearing an oxygen mask and a doctor's gown is dragging a corpse. he looks at the sun so bright that is hurtful to look at it for more than a few seconds. the man drags the body inside of a warehouse and deep inside of the warehouse is a small laboratory.
that is his laboratory and the place in which he conducts experiments with the dead bodies that he steals from the graveyard. he had many body parts in four freezers. he looks for a while at the new dead body on his hands. he puts his hands on the head of the corpse and he starts to hear his voice and he starts to read his past and emotions that he felt on life.
the name of this strange man is Bandit Cadaver and his power is something on the necromancy area (every power corresponds to a category and every power that has something to do with the dead is put in the necromancy category even when it isn't necessarily necromancy) Bandit Cadaver is a man gifted with the ability to read the past of the dead and to hear the laments of the dead.
his power is something peculiar of what is not known much about. many powers are well known because there is a majority of people who share the same power, but a power like the one Bandit Cadaver has is a type of power that only few every twenty or forty years are born with. those with said power prefer to keep their power in silence to avoid conflict for the same reason that it falls on the necromancy category.
because of his power Bandit Cadaver has being a really lonely person a huge part of his life. one day he decided to help those souls that he can hear by connecting their bodies and conducting experiments to put the souls together (when he was a kid his mother used to read the tale of Frankenstein to him. after a long time he decided that he wanted to do be the doctor who plays god but instead of doing it for his own, he wants to do it for those souls.)
somewhere else on the middle of the road.....
Night-Sight is in a car with Alberto Esposito. Night-Sight is angry because Alberto came to him while he was trying to sleep and he force him to accompany him to the gym. Night-Sight asks to Alberto why does a Vigilante and a King Pin are meant to do in a public gym in which they can be easily recognized by any civilian.
Alberto wanted to explain the whole thing, but Night-Sight is a man that loves to argue with others. but he never hears to what others had to say unless he is interrogating the 'others who had something to say' Alberto isn't a man of patience either. if he is forcing himself to behave in front of the crazy Vigilante is because he is useful for his future plans.
after ten minutes of arguing they are finally in the gym. Alberto gets out of the car and he gets inside of the gym looking down at the floor and he was about to say something when he looks at Daisuke taking cleaning products inside of the bathroom and getting out of the bathroom with garbage bags. Night-Sight asks him about the training that they were going to do.
Alberto is thinking about many things and he is trying to pretend that he didn't saw anything. Night-Sight says something and Alberto looks at Jonathan Miller getting out of the bathroom with his shoes covered of blood and Aristide "Short-Tempered" Bellucci is at his side with blood stains on his face and some blood on his hair.
"do we ignored that and keep doing our thing or we go to that suspicious bathroom and see for ourselves why are there so many important guys from this city in a single bathroom."
"I don't know maybe they were on a need. I mean I had been in that position and it ain't pretty especially if you are running around every store asking for a bathroom to free yourself from your inner self."
"wait, what? whatever. I need to go in there."
"hold your horses pavement cowboy. we came in here early in the day because we need to be in shape for the war that is to be."
Alberto runs towards the bathroom and he pulls Night-Sight. Alberto opens the door. Arturo throws a dead body on his arms and then he throws a machete on the hands of Night-Sight. he grabs his camera and he takes pictures. he asks Night-Sight to pose for the pictures.
"you better take my good side or you are going to be the dead body."
warns him Night-Sight.
