Jonathan Miller AKA Ray of Hope has been following Arturo since the last month when he arrived at the city. at first he follow him because he saw Arturo talking with some famous villains but when he discovered that reason why he is in the city he become more obsessed with him. how could a guy who is friends with wanted criminals be after his ex? he couldn't allow that. he couldn't let people know that his ex left him for a criminal ( it was actually Jonathan the one who ended their relationship) he is Ray of Hope the Hero number Two and as the second best Hero he decided to stop Arturo before people start talking about him.
Fumiko is on her workplace like always and she is really tired. the worst part is that tomorrow in her birthday and she has been working like crazy while Arturo keeps insisting that he would take legal actions if she doesn't fulfill the agreement on their contract ( of course he would never do anything like that but he is being pushy on purpose because he wants to have an excuse to say that he couldn't win her love and that his only choice is to take the lonely path of revenge) Fumiko is tired of idiots and she asks herself why is that from all the guys who approaches her no one is more like Detective Wagner an actually decent guy? ( she has no clue that Detective Jurgen Wagner has a crush on her ) Fumiko tries to keep working without thinking too much.
on the edge of the City.....
there is a Villain named "The Neon M-F-ing Destroyer" and he is beaten up cops and civilians until the number one Hero on the city appears in front of him ( Sacred Mask is the name of the Number 1 Hero on all Heroic City. he is an actually nice guy once you know him but most people think that he is a prick because he is too shy to speak with other people ) Sacred Mask asks to the villain nicely to give up and the Neon M-F-ing Destroyer throws a smoke grenade and a bomb at the same time while he tries to escape. Sacred Mask stops the bomb from exploding letting the Villain escape.
back at the boring office work at the H.C.P.D. headquarters...
Fumiko is taking notes of everything there is to know about Bloodstain and she keeps trying to find any hint about his identity while she also works on her regular boring work. Detective Wagner brings her a cup of coffee while he leaves to investigate a case in which he has been working for the past two weeks. Fumiko is starting to have doubts about being a policewoman.
it might not seem like it but a police officer has a lot of work. they had to identify the identity of the Villains (most of them used a mask or something similar to hide their identity) a police officer also has to do all the paper work ( if a Villain was mistreated or if his rights weren't read to him or if a Hero used too much force to stop him and also the damage done including victims in the captured of a Villain) a police officer also has to deal with thieves, domestic violence, child abuse, crimes of passion, etc. ( a Hero is like a modern version of the S.W.A.T. they only deal with situations in which more than one life could be in danger and the main purpose of their job is to stop "Villains" they also had to deal with Assassins, corrupt people and Serial Killers but of course they don't do the paper work to find either of them all of that falls on the hands of a secretary on the H.C.H.D. ) there is so much work that falls on the hands of the H.C.P.D. but that is the only reason why people take serious the police department because is well known that everything falls in their hands and even if most people don't admit it they know that the Heroes are first pretty ornaments and secondly savers.
Fumiko finishes her work and she realized that it is already midnight and she walks out of the office thinking about how is she going to celebrate her birthday and then she looks at Arturo awaiting for her on the sidewalk.
"what are you doing in here?"
asked Fumiko trying to avoid eye contact.
"I knew you would be in here so I was waiting to take you home but why don't we eat something nice first?"
said Arturo with a soft tone of voice.
"your sweet talking is not working on me you handsome man with a body out of one of those dirty magazines that I don't read."
said Fumiko without thinking.
"sorry love if the fact that I had clothes on is a problem I can make sure is no longer a problem but not today your dad is in my car and if I do something suspicious he might brake certain parts of me."
said Arturo feeling regret of letting Mr. Suzuki inside of his car.
"oh if my dad is awaiting for us then let's go."
said Fumiko exited to see her dad.
both of them get inside of the car. Fumiko sits next to her dad. while Arturo is driving Fumiko is talking with Mr. Suzuki ( she haven't seen her father in more than two months because both of them are busy working also Arturo has already seen Mr. Suzuki three times in the last month ) they arrived in front of a fancy restaurant Fumiko and Mr. Suzuki are worried because none are paid enough to get inside a restaurant like that. Arturo with a friendly smile explains that he is paying after all it is a small family reunion.
the restaurant on the inside seem so luxurious that Fumiko was trembling by just thinking how much is Arturo going to spend in their food. the tree of them sit on a table in a corner. fumiko's mom was already on the table awaiting for them. Detective Jurgen Wagner arrives with Biyu Wag ( she is a super Hero known as "Pink Fist" also she is Fumiko's best friend and the first one who wanted to murder Ray of trash when she heard about what type of loser he is ) the six of them are talking about old memories and some memories that are not so old while Fumiko laughs and enjoys of the night forgetting of how tired she was from work.
while they were having their small family reunion Jonathan Miller was looking at them furious because no one invited him and when he was dating Fumiko he was never part of any reunion. Jonathan was furious but he couldn't do anything so he decided to wait for his opportunity to do some training with Arturo's face ( yes the number two hero likes to attack people who he thinks has wronged him and he enjoys of attacking them on dark alleys and betting the living hell out of them until they are unconscious and half alive) Jonathan leaves the place and he walks to his home.
after a long time talking about many topics and eating only Arturo and Fumiko were left on the restaurant everyone else had already left ( also both of them are drunk after drinking a lot of wine) Fumiko remembers when they were kids and she decides to talk about them ( when Arturo is drunk he tends to talk too much while Fumiko gets really violent and aggressive )
"there is something that has been bothering me. why did you left out of nowhere without saying goodbye? why did you never try to approach me before until now? I need answers or I am going to beat the living shit out of you."
said Fumiko angry trying to understand him.
"my parents are.... my father used to be a vigilante but of course he was look down because unlike actual Heroes a vigilante doesn't care about the quantity of blood that is spilled and most of the criminals that he went after ended dead instead of being behind bars.... the point is that someone framed him and we needed it to escape from cops, that is why even when I wanted to see you I couldn't because I could put you and myself in danger."
said Arturo with teary eyes.
"I am sorry we should go it is getting late."
said Fumiko upset for asking something so personal.
Arturo called for a cab to take them to their homes. inside of the cab Arturo and Fumiko kept talking about their childhood memories and before arriving at Fumiko's home the driver stops the car and he gets out of it scared while he walks away. Arturo notice that something isn't right. the Neon M-F-ing Destroyer opens Fumiko's door and he tells them that they had to do something for him if they don't want to die.
"Harold you piece of shit, if you touch even a hair from my woman I would break your legs and everything in between I would leave you paralyzed if you dare."
yields Arturo angry.
"wait Mr. Bloodstain is that you? I told you to not called me by my real name..... I was just trying to sound scary and the truth is that I don't know how to drive and the driver left."
said Neon M-F-ing Destroyer with a broken voice.
"kids this days they put a mask on and they called themselves by stupid names, they don't learn on the old days it was so much different."
said Arturo forgetting that Fumiko is at his side.
"wait a damn second are you telling me that you are the infamous Bloodstain and you were all this time seducing me?"
said Fumiko confused.
"oh yeah, sorry honey I am Bloodstain or I could say that I am his replacement because the Original Bloodstain was brutally murder by the people for which you work."
said Arturo with a friendly smile.
Fumiko goes walking to her home and inside of her house she called her dad and she told him everything but she wasn't ready for the answer that she received "I know" Fumiko hangs up and she goes to her bed to sleep. she tries to sleep but she can't sleep, not knowing that she is getting herself stuck in a complicated situation in which her whole career could be in danger and jet she feels sorry and she feels like she wants to keep her friendship with Arturo even after all this years.
that night Harold Hall AKA The Neon M-F-ing Destroyer was arrested also that night Arturo cried for the first time in twenty years, he cried because he felt like he betrayed the woman that he loves, he cried because he can't be with her when he knows that he has a Vendetta against the Government. he cried because he loves her more than ever and he doesn't know what he would do without her in his life.
two hours ago on the center of the City.....
Jonathan Miller walks in front of a person wearing a mask in the shape of an insect. that person is also wearing an uniform with wings. Jonathan tells him everything that he knows about Arturo and he tells him that he doesn't know anything about his past it seems like someone erased every record about his family. Jonathan tells him that he would asks to his dad for help ( Jonathan is not only the second best Hero but he is also the only son of a Congressman named Mark C. Miller Jr. a powerful and dangerous man who has his claws on powerful people ) the man wearing the insect mask reveals his Villain name "Lethal Stinger"
actual time in the entrance to the city....
a man wearing a suit and some sun glasses is walking inside of the City and he looks at his notebook with many names in it. he smirks and he keeps walking slowly. he puts on some red gloves and he takes a knife out of his pockets ( his name is the Stuntman and he is a really dangerous Hitman ) a man like him always goes to big cities for one reason and one reason only and that reason is to hunt the big prey.
