Chapter 50 - I Need You

Bucky's POV:

Memories of our past rush in my mind. The moment I saw her being held as a small child, looking at me in my frozen chamber with her big hazel eyes, trying to understand all my trauma. To looking at her as a woman. Doing more than just caring for her, but actually falling in love with her. To our tender first moments of discovering one another. To our actual first-time having sex. To all the times in Hydra, thinking we were being sneaky. To the moment I begged for her to take all her memories away in order to save herself. All this time. Years forgotten. And we still managed to find one another. Now more than ever I know. She has always been it. There's no one that I have wanted more in my life. No one that I've wanted to protect more in my life. She's it. My everything. My doll. My eyes flutter open, and I feel a limp Charlie leaning up against my shoulder.

"Charlie?" I ask. She doesn't move or stir. I bring my hand up to push her back and her head flops back. No. I pull her seemingly boneless body to look at me. "Charlie? Charlie? Please, wake up. Look at me." No, no, no. The memories were not worth this. "Charlie?" I hiccup. Still nothing.

My lips connect to hers, and she never returns the kiss. I kiss all over her face. Still nothing. "Please. Don't leave me. Maggie needs you. Don't do this. Come back to me. Charlie... I-I need you." My voice cracks as the tears pour down my face. I lost her. This wasn't worth it. I would rather have false memories from a video than knowing everything.

"Barnes." Her weak voice croaks out. My breath catches in my throat, feeling that this is just a dream.

"Charlie? Oh God...I thought...I thought I..."

"Barnes does sound good." Her eyes never open to look at me, but she's talking.

"Fuck yeah it does. God, I just love you, Charlie. Don't ever do that to me. I can't lose you." I pull her close to me, wrapping my arms around her. I will never leave her again. We're a package deal.

"I was hoping you would ask me then." She giggles. Her eyes finally open and she looks at me. She's weak, but she's alive and here.

"What?" I ask, I'm so overwhelmed that she's here with me, and we have all our memories back that I'm not understanding what she's saying.

"Charlie Barnes. It sounds good, yeah?" I nod my head at her with a smile. "So, ask me."

"You don't think we're going to fast?"

She shakes her head. "I've loved you since I was eight. I crushed on you since I was twelve. I fell in love with you at eighteen. And again, I fell in love with you at twenty-three, well twenty-five. You went into the soul stone when I was twenty-six. Still, I was in love with you. When I was thirty-one, you returned. I have never loved someone the way I love you. And here I am at thirty-two more in love with you than I ever have been, and now I know exactly what you mean to me...I would say that this has been a long time coming."

"I don't have a ring here." She smiles at me. Thought she wanted things to be traditional? And then her nose scrunches up in confusion.

"Wait...here?" She smiles up at me.

"Not here." I nod.

"I won't say no. I love you James Bucky Barnes." Her soft lips kiss mine.

"And I'm not asking without the ring in my hand. You deserve perfection."

"You know, James, I hate how you leave me waiting sometimes."

"And I really don't care brat." I begin peppering kisses along her lips, and move down her neck.

"I'm a brat huh?"

"Oh yeah...the biggest brat." I whisper into her ear, giving it a little nibble. Feeling myself still fully sheathed in her throbbing core, both of us throbbing, I place my hands on her hips. Moving her on top of me. "And now my brat needs to follow my orders. I want you to fuck me. Cum on my cock, and then I'm going to fuck you? Do you understand?"

"Yes, sir." Charlie adjusts herself and begins riding my cock. My fingers grip tightly to her hips. She's mine. Always has been. Nothing and no one have been able to keep us apart for long. She was made just for me.

"Whose girl are you, doll?"

"Yours. Only yours, James." My metal hand comes down to her clit, circling her bundle of nerves. Activating the small vibrations through my arm. Charlie whimpers, bouncing harder on top of me. Fucking hell. Her moans are the most beautiful symphony.

I watch as her body expertly moves on top of me. Breasts bouncing around. Face leaking her pure pleasure. I've never felt closer to her. Feeling her walls flutter around my cock causes my breathing to hitch. "Don't forget to breathe for me, James." She smirks at me. Her movements never change.

"You just take my cock so well, honey. I can feel you throbbing on me. Such a good girl for me." My hands trail along her sides, and I watch her skin chill in the wake of my touch.

"James...I-I..."

"I know. Let go. Cum on my cock, doll." Seconds later I feel her gush on my cock. Her legs tremble as she comes apart. "So perfect, honey."

Without pulling out of her, I roll us over and pound into her. Vulgar squelching sounds, the slap of my balls on her ass, and our deep moans are the only sounds in the room. Her hands grip tightly to my face and she brings me down to kiss and bite on my lips. "Fucking hell doll."

"Harder." She pants up at me. Not wanting to disappoint I make my thrusts hard and deep. Her back arches off the bed, legs wrapped around me. She whimpers on my mouth and already I feel her cunt grip me tightly.

"You going to milk my cock? Fill you up with my hot cum?"

"Yes, yes, James."

"Cum, doll." I tell her, she complies. Squeezing me tightly, and I cum with her. Hot cum coating the walls of her tight cunt. "You're such a good girl, honey. You take me so well." I whisper on her lips. I smile in our kiss. "One day, I'm fucking a baby in you."

"Not until my last name changes."

"Deal." I tell her.

Charlie's POV:

Waking up from a deep, cock drunken nap with Bucky I know we need prepare to meet Sam, Sarah, and the kids back at the house. Bucky's strong toned arms wrap tightly around me, his head laying on my chest. He vowed to never leave me again, and I know that he means it. He's everything to me. My partner. And every part of my life I'm doing it with him.

"Bucky." I whisper at him. He lets out a soft groan. "We need to go back to the house."

"Five more minutes." He grumbles, and holds on to me tighter, nuzzling his face into my chest.

"Sam is probably freaking out. We didn't really give him any indication of where we were in our head."

"He's a big boy. He'll be fine." His tongue licks around my nipple.

"No. Don't start that. I'm sure Sarah and the kids will be there. Come on." I attempt to push him off me.

He groans a bit louder. "I just want to hold you."

"We have the rest of our lives to do that. I'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with me now." My lips kiss along his hairline. He is mine and I am his. We're together.

"I better be. And besides you're the one stuck with me."

His arms finally unravel from my body and I already feel he's too far away from me. "Five more minutes, Alpha."

He smiles at me, and instead of wrapping himself around me, he pulls me into him. I place my hand on his heart and I snuggle in close to him. "I love it when you call me that." His voice is so husky and deep I feel a warmth spread through my core. Shit. We're never going to accomplish anything.

"You are the White Wolf handsome." Bucky hums in agreement. "What would you think about having a house down here?"

"What?" His eyebrows don't furrow. He likes the idea.

"I'm not saying get rid of the cottage. But it's nice here. It feels like home. Sam. Sarah and the boys. Maggie loves it here. You love it here. You don't hide your arm."

"Hmm...it's a nice thought. What about Steve?" He watches me as my eyes roll. "He has to be considered."

"I'm not letting him dictate our life. He can adjust accordingly. It's just a thought. I'm happy wherever you are. Besides, I haven't got to make a home with you. The cottage, while I love it...I want those memories with you." I feel my eyes tear up. A tightness in my throat and my vision goes blurry.

"Hey...you're my home, doll. You and Maggie. I don't care if we were living in this hotel room. Wherever you are. That's home."

Laughter, soft music, and familiar love warms out of the Wilson family kitchen. A small blonde Maggie sits on Bucky's lap, concentrating on the card game everyone is playing. Maggie claimed Bucky as her partner. Charlie sits close to the duo. Her hand lovingly rubs along his thigh. Sam tosses the remainder of his crust into a now empty pizza box, and lets out a deep belly laugh as he lays down a Reverse card. Causing Charlie's turn to be missed again. "Can't use your lightning for this can you Pikachu." She rolls her eyes at him.

Cass lays down a Skip card, skipping his mother and she playfully knocks him with her shoulder. "Your own mother? Remember who feeds you, son."

AJ lays down a regular number card down. Leading to Bucky and Maggie. "Let's do this one." Maggie tells Bucky mischievously.

"I don't know. We may start a war." He jokingly warns.

"I think it'll be worth it." Her little hand lays down a blue Draw Two card, devilishly smiling at her mom.

"That's my girl!" Sam stands, giving Maggie a fist bump. Maggie's head throws back on Bucky's shoulder. Giggling animatedly.

"Okay, okay. I see this is a gang up on Charlie game." Her eyes glance over to Sarah as she draws two cards from the deck. Both women know they've been holding out on their cards. "I was trying to take it easy on you and Uncle Sam. No more, Maggie James."

"We're not scared of you." Bucky turns his head to give Charlie a quick peck on her lips, she does reciprocate the kiss.

"Yeah! We're not scared of you." Maggie gleefully laughs at her mom.

"You should be. This is war." She pops her neck. "You ready, Sarah?"

Sarah's sly smile meet Charlie. "Ready."

"Oh, no. You two have been talking in your head, haven't you?" Sam looks between the two women. They both shrug. "Alright boys. Maggie. It's all of us against them two. Okay?"

"Yeah!" All three kids scream.

"Hey, bring some of that butter stuff in here." Sam screams into the kitchen to Sarah and Charlie.

"So demanding Sammy! You upset we kicked your butt?" Charlie screams back.

"You two cheated. Uno is supposed to be a solo game. No teams. And normal people don't talk into each other's mind."

Charlie grabs up the small boxes of candy, one for each member of their extended family. "You got the drinks?" She asks Sarah. "I'll get the 'butter stuff'."

"We like having you guys here. You're lucky. He treats Maggie like his own." Charlie glances in the living room. Maggie is already curled close to Bucky. He laughs at something the small girl said, tickling her sides.

"I know. After all the heartbreak he's seen, I'm just glad he's happy." She wraps her fingers around the liquid butter. Each person already has their personal box of popcorn sitting on their lap.

"You've seen some heartbreak too. Hey, I'm proud of you. I know that all that couldn't have been easy. What are you going to do about Thor?"

Charlie sucks in a breath in between her cheeks. "I know that Bruce or Rhodey could get in touch with him, I just don't know if over hologram is the best way to say, 'Hey, I know you're my real father.'"

"Maybe not. But the longer you wait, the harder that conversation will be." Sarah looks at Charlie concerned.

"You're right."

"Then what are you worried about?" Sarah asks with a smile.

"I don't know." Charlie laughs. She really doesn't. She has plenty of questions. But she's honestly just happy.

The women walk into the room, both handing the group their candy and drinks. Charlie walks to the other side of Bucky, they both share a sweet kiss, but they just can't keep their hands off one another. The few minutes and distance from the kitchen to the living room was too much of a separation. "Hey, the movie is about to start." Maggie objects. The pair smile but continue to kiss one another.

"Alright, alright. Buck, you were wanting to watch this." Sam uses his, I'm serious tone with them.

Bucky finally pulls away. "What exactly are we watching?" He smiles looking between the people in the group.

"The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe." The kids giggle.

"Oh, that's right. One more then." He places another kiss on Charlie's lips.

Sam rolls his eyes, "You two should just go ahead and get married."

"I'm working on that." Bucky tells him. Charlie smiles and snuggles deeper onto the man.

Maggie looks up at Bucky, "Wait. A. Minute. You will ask me if you can take mommy on a date, but not if you can marry her?" She pouts up at Bucky, crossing her arms.

"I haven't got that far, yet, Maggie James." He whispers down to the girl. "I won't ask her without you knowing though, okay? She tried to get me to ask her earlier."

"Mommy! That's not your job. That's his job. With my help." Charlie just looks at her daughter adoringly. Knowing that she is indeed making a good choice for herself and the small girl.

"I know. I know, little pearl."

Maggie's body leans against Bucky's metal arm, wrapping her arm around the cybernetic appendage. "That can't be comfortable Maggie James."

"It is. Now, shush." Charlie looks over at Maggie, and she quickly adds, "Please." Charlie's gaze is still on the girl, "Sorry, Bucky." Charlie gives her a quick nod and the group settles back to watch the movie.

Not wanting to leave the peaceful space they've created in the home; Charlie carries a fast asleep Maggie up to the guest room. Placing her on an air mattress on the floor. She gently caresses her face and sings "You Are My Sunshine" to lull her back to sleep.

Downstairs on the couch, Sam wants to question Bucky. "So?" Bucky glares over at Sam. Raising his brows wanting him to go on. "Marriage?"

"What about it?"

Sarah smiles, "You're going to ask her?"

"Yep."

"Full of information you are." Sam laughs. "You got a ring?"

"Yeah. I've had it." Now Bucky's stoic face finally smiles.

"How long?" Sarah asks. She's become so fond of Charlie, and even more fond of hers and Bucky's relationship.

Bucky's hand rubs along his neck, taking in a deep breath through his teeth. "A month after I left her."

"What? You leave her and buy her an engagement ring?"

"I fuc..." Sarah glares at Bucky. She hates the profanity the trio uses. "Messed up, I know. Sorry Sarah. I've wanted to marry her since she was with me in Wakanda. Never thought I would get that chance with Steve."

"There's something you two aren't telling me about Steve." Sam looks over to him. "Isn't there?" Bucky nods. "Well?"

"Let's wait until Charlie gets down here."

"How are you going to ask her?" Sarah smiles at the super soldier. "I can help."

"No. I've got it. I've got to talk with Clint. Preferably would like to talk to Thor and..." His eyes look to the stairs as he watches the most beautiful angel glide down the stairs. His sapphire blue eyes light up the moment he sees her.

"Geeze. You got it bad." Sam huffs. "Am I forever going to have to deal with you two on missions?"

"Yep." Charlie smiles before she gives Bucky a kiss.

"So...Steve?" Sam asks.

Charlie looks between Bucky and Sam, "I think it's time, doll. You said you didn't want him to dictate our life. Sam deserves to know."

Nodding in agreement. "Well, Steve has continued to time hop to visit Maggie." Sam's eyes go wide looking at them. Thousands of questions running through his eyes.

"That was the other thing. Sorry to bring this up, doll." Her hand rubs along his arm, he pulls her closer to him. "There was a time that Charlie knew that he was coming in the middle of the night. He thought it best for us not to know, for some reason. So I was blindsided when I finally found out by seeing him reading to Maggie." Bucky turns to look at Charlie. She nods, silently telling him it's okay to continue. "He had visited when I was in Brooklyn. I was hurt and broken and I asked Charlie if anything happened while I was away."

"And nothing did." She assures the super soldier.

"Wooowww." Sam lingers out. "What an ass. Look, I love the man. But when it came to Charlie...he never did right by you. How does Maggie adjust to that? That's confusing. How often? How is he doing this? Is he ever alone with Maggie?"

"Sam. Slow down. Maggie is doing okay with it. He wants Peggy to meet her, and me, and see Bucky again."

"What? Mother fu...trucker." Sam's eyes glance over to Sarah's.

"He now comes every Friday at 2:00. He kept the time watch. Peggy works at S.H.I.E.L.D. and is getting Pym Particles. And he's alone, but I take the watch with me. We're going to have to adjust some things with his schedule though."

"Why?" Sarah asks.

"I have a Bucky." She smiles at Bucky.

"And I have to have a serious talk with him." Bucky adds looking down at Charlie.

"Do I want to know?" Sam asks. Bucky shakes his head no. Too private. And Sam is already too familiar with Charlie's sex life.

"I would like to see him again." Sam deadpans. He's thinking of all the things he wants to say to him. Concerning Charlie and Bucky of course, but also wants to catch up. He misses him.

"He wants to see you again, too." Charlie smiles at Sam. Steve has so many questions concerning Sam taking up the mantle of Captain America. When Charlie relayed that Sam has been amazing and came into his own when dealing with the Flag Smashers, Steve was proud of his decision.

"So how does it feel having it all back?" Sam asks looking between the couple.

"Weird." Bucky responds. "In an instant it all comes rushing back. All of our time together. Now everything that happened after she took all her memories away make sense." Charlie drapes her legs over Bucky's lap, laying her head on his shoulder.

"Yeah...look, I didn't like you. Especially not with Charlie, but it does make sense. So, about your dad...?" Sam looks over to Charlie.

"What about him?" Charlie laughs.

"You guys did have a good relationship. But you're going to have to tell him that you know. And who's walking you down the aisle?" Sam snickers at Charlie.

"Clint." She never hesitates. "Thor and I did have a good relationship, but even in Asgard he didn't raise me. My mom did. He spent time with me, but it was mostly my grandmother. But Clint is the man that's played my dad for the longest. My chaperone." Charlie laughs, thinking of the name that Thor bestowed upon him her first day at the compound. "Thor has mostly been a big brother."

"What about me Pikachu?" Sam asks, feigning hurt.

"You're the annoying big brother. Thor is the golden retriever big brother. Lovable, goofy, sweet."

"And then what about Loki? He was hitting on you at the party." As soon as that comes out, Bucky looks over to Charlie, anger printed all over his face. Who is Loki and why was he hitting on his girl?

"I mean, he was adopted, so we're not exactly related."

"Did you like him, hitting on you?" Bucky asks.

"She was worried about someone else." Sam gives Charlie a wink. Charlie glares at him before her eyes roll. He's definitely the annoying older brother. Bucky's head nods knowing that this is a Steve thing.

"When is the wedding?" Sarah smirks looking at the pair that's snuggled up on her loveseat, wanting to change the subject, and bring it back to a happy time.

Charlie holds up her ring finger, showing that it's without a ring. "He has to propose first."

"But you're thinking about it?" Sarah looks mostly at Bucky. They both nod, with a grin that runs from cheek to cheek.

"I knew it. Bucky already told me." Sam adds triumphantly. His head shakes from side to side, thinking that he's superior to Charlie, almost.

"No. I didn't." Bucky deadpans. Resuming his favorite past time with Sam. It's a staring contest. He wishes that Sam would drop it considering the conversation while Charlie was upstairs.

"Yeah, on the boat. When you brought me the suit."

"No. You asked if I just wanted to just date her. I told you no."

"Aha, because you wanted to marry her." He points his finger over at the serious face, locked jawed super soldier.

"And that's my cue to put my sweet teddy bear to bed." Charlie stands pulling Bucky with her. "Let's go, Mishka."

"I prefer when you call me Alpha."

Charlie rolls her eyes. "Fine. Let's go Alpha. Goodnight Sammy, G'night Sarah."

Once Bucky stands, he playfully bites at Charlie's neck, snarling into it. "As you wish, Omega." He throws the petite woman over his shoulder, giving her ass a little smack.

"Bucky!"

"Hey! You two there's a child in the room with you! No funny business!!" Sam yells up as the pair quietly walk up the stairs.

"Drama queen!" Charlie tilts her head to look at Sam with a smile.

"Watch it, Pikachu."
