"I just want a day, when we can just relax, enjoy doing our favorite thing all day. And when the night time comes, and we get all tired from so much of a fun day, I want to caress her cheeks, hold her face within my palm, and press my forehead to hers, only to say 'thanks for making my life even more fun and beautiful. Thanks for existing.'," Carter said all those, with eyes dazed, as if he was trying to find how she would react if he even ended up saying those. And returning back to reality, he just simply asked him, "Does that sound good enough? At least it does to me."
"Yeah, I guess," Shiro responded in a low voice. "Grateful for making your life fun, and thanking her, huh. Nice way to phrase it, that it is."
To be honest, Shiro never expected someone of little words to say so much and so beautifully. Guess that's how a feeling so great yet so foreign works, making someone change this much only for that person.
