"So you do know about it, hum?" Airi muttered in a low voice, being careful not to attract the attention of Sayuri or Shiro.
"Know about what?" Alex responded in an equally low voice.
"Oh shaddap, will ya? I can clearly see ya lookin' at me like y'er lookin' at some pitiful lost puppy," Airi scoffed at him. "Who are ya kiddin'?"
"So tell me, do you still feel this bad?"
"Did I look too bad just now?"
"You did. You looked like you were about to cry and break apart, " Alex had a surprisingly calm tone while saying those. And it was new for her, hearing the usual cheerful over-excited guy sound this mature.
But the more surprising fact was that she never got someone to notice her and tell that to her, about how she really looked while having these feelings. She couldn't tell the real thing behind that emotion, so she chose to stick to the idea Alex had for it. "I guess I do feel bad this much then."
