A server girl in her early twenties walked up to their table with two drinks placed in a tray in her hands. She slowly placed those drinks in front of them, making sure they got their designated drinks.
"Eh? What's this goo-ey green thing?" Alex scooted behind, seeing an ominous-looking drink in front of him.
"Your order, dear customer. You have asked for the manager's favorite. This is bitter-gourd juice." She showed off a little smile, looking harmless.
"Argghh, THOMAS! How could you do that to someone who is crushing on you?" he shouted at the top of his lungs, earning a huge uproar of laughter in the cafe.
"Serves you right, that it does," sipping on his chocolate latte, Shiro said. He noticed there was a plate with a chocolate pastry in front of him. "This?"
"Oh, Thomas said it's for you." the girl replied to him.
