Airi snapped back to reality by Shiro's voice. But still, she was in a daze, and so neither of his words reached her ears or processed in her brain. She just kept looking at the boy before her, as his face was getting overlapped with the guy in her memory, the guy from her own time, the guy she used to like, or maybe to be precise, admired.
The boy in front of her was a spitting image of the Shiro she just recalled, a bit younger version that's all. And seeing him all of a sudden, when she was reading the diary, was creating a lot of complex emotions in her mind.
She was stunned, seeing that such a coincidence did actually exist in the world, that made her meet him right at the moment.
