Airi was surprised by his words, yet she responded to him with a slight nod.
"Well, the thing is, I remember how things have gone sour between us after that day. And to be honest, I kinda hated that we had to ruin our friendship just for that. That event might have been a fault of lotta' people, but I guess the way I behaved was too off-ish," Carter took a little pause, maybe to arrange his words before proceeding with it. "Look, you know I am bad with extra sweet talks, or some huge essays that would be necessary to use in order to suffice this, so I will be straight with my words. I'm really sorry for the way I behaved. I knew and I saw how you were left all alone, yet I never did extend the hand of friendship to you ever again, just because I was a bit hurt by your action that day. That was bad of me, and I regret it a lot."
