"Hey, you know what? Let's ask him straight!" Emma ran towards Carter just after suggesting this to her friends. Hazel and Dew had no other choice but to tag along. After all, they didn't even manage enough time to stop her.
"Greeting Senior! Congratulations on the day!" Emma walked up to Carter, and with a smile, she congratulated him.
"Oh, God! Let me first get married! You can't do that until I do, right? What if she suddenly calls off the wedding and I remain unmarried for the rest of my life, huh?" Carter spoke in such a serious tone, Emma was really taken aback by that. For a second, she was dumbstruck by his words, and kept staring with an awkward look.
"There is a possibility of that?" Hazel joined in the conversation, in a hushed voice to make sure no one hears them.
"Given that it is her I am getting married to, that's totally possible," Carter kept an equal hush in his voice, to mimic Hazel. That made every four of them laugh out loud.
