Not long after Shiro left, Alex rushed out of the room. But seems like he was fast enough to get out of the place, as there wasn't any sign of his nearby. He dialed Shiro's number, which kept on ringing, without getting picked up.
"Pick up at least once," Alex dialed the number, again and again, not giving up until Shiro gives in and picks up.
"Alex… can we… not talk for now?" Shiro's voice sounded really weak over the receiver, as if he was trying to muffle his voice. Or maybe, the grief was what he was trying to hide. And without even letting Alex to talk, he ended the call from the other end.
"Damn, just as I thought," Alex cursed out, feeling frustrated. He didn't waste any single moment, and dialed Airi's number. And as soon as she received it, he just quickly told her to come and ended it.
"Guess that should be it."
