"Even though she belongs to him?" Alex asked back, hearing his friend laying his feelings out bare. After all, he was getting himself into a situation where he can only get heartbroken. And now that he just went ahead and landed in her life once again, he was sure to get all hurt and all, seeing them acting all lovey-dovey.
"No one belongs to anyone in the first place, Alex. It's just who she chooses to be happy with. And as long as she can be all smiles, it should be fine." Shiro walked away from the place, finally going towards the kitchen this time. He promised the mothers that he would be helping them in cooking lunch. He needs to eat something as well, since he really didn't have anything for breakfast.
"My boy grew up huh. I feel so emotional," Alex let out a little sniffing noise. He was getting the feeling of a proud adult bird, finally seeing her kids starting to fly up in the sky. That's how the parents must feel upon seeing their kids grow up.
