A cab was waiting at the gate of the hospital for them, when Airi and Carter came down. They both found Alex also standing there, leaning against the cab.
"Hey, Alex!" Airi waved at him, getting his attention. And of course, Alex also waved back at her. "You are here?"
"A bonus one with a cab, dedicated to waiting for you," Alex elegantly bowed at her, followed by laughter from her.
"You are alone?" Airi looked around them, while asking Alex.
"You expecting someone else?" In response, he asked another question.
"Nah, who I'd be expecting…" Airi responded in a low voice. "Let's get goin' then. Alex, ya comin' with us?"
"Nope, I have to stay here. Just wanted to pay you a visit while you are leaving, that's all." Alex shrugged his shoulders before adding more, "Stay well senior. Otherwise, we all would worry about such a lovely elder sister."
Airi walked up to Alex, and slowly raised her hand towards his hair. "May I?"
