"I'm home," Shiro unlocked the front door of his home, and let himself in.
"Welcome home, my son," Tomoki was watching the television, and hearing the sound of the door, he spoke up.
"Oh, you home, dad?"Shiro changed his shoes, and headed towards his room.
"Yeah, work was done rather fast. Freshen up, I brought snacks on my way home," Tomoki flashed a warm smile to his son. Just then, he noticed a small bag in Shiro's hands. "What's that? Seems like from a gift shop?"
Shiro halted his steps and glanced at the bag in his hands, before he returned his gaze back at his father. "Ah, this? It is from a gift shop. Just… a gift for someone."
"Eh? Gift? For a friend?" Tomoki nudged at his son. And his mentioning the word 'friend' left Shiro in thoughts again.
