Airi kept blinking her eyes at Shiro, still not believing his words.
"Are ya'… talkin' to me?"
"Do you believe in ghosts?"
"Eh?" Airi got baffled by his sudden turn of question. "Where did ghosts come from? No… I don't."
'Well, Ryo isn't a ghost, right?' the thought came into her mind almost immediately.
"Then I don't think there is any possibility of me talking to anything other than you, that there isn't," Shiro let out a long sigh. "Just how much dumb you have become?"
"A heap load? Meh, ain't my fault. I mean, outta all people, you are tellin' me to be normal. And forgivin' me…"
"I am not, damn it!" His voice rose all of a sudden, but he immediately lowered it, seeing the weird gazes around fixated on him. "I am just saying that, I am tired of acting awkward. I can't ignore someone who I work with anyway. So just keep these foul things behind for a second and act like normal. Am I clear?"
