Ryan and Cherry both got out of the cottage and started walking towards the garage, Cherry went to her car and drove off, she didn't want to give any chance to Ryan to boss her around, on her way to the office, Cherry dialled a number and put the phone on speaker, the phone got connected and then the other person answered,
"I want all CCTV footage of my area by tomorrow morning," Cherry said firmly.
"Why are you asking for footage? Laura did he come again to meet you," Klaus asked concernedly.
"Yes, threatens me, I want him dead Klaus, I want to kill him," Cherry said while gritting her teeth.
"I know laura but please be cautious, I've been warning you from the beginning but you never listen to me," Klaus said angrily.
"You never leave a chance to lecture me, I'm not a baby, I can take care of myself, please Klaus give me some space and have some faith in me," Cherry replied annoyingly.
"You're too stubborn that's why I feel scared sometimes I really do, I feel that you'll hurt yourself or put yourself in trouble," Klaus said concernedly.
"I know you care about me, thanks for standing by my side," Cheery said and cut the call.
Cherry reached the parking area of Zang's company, parked her car and got out of it. Cherry took the elevator, punched the sixteen-floor button on it, got out of the elevator and walked towards her cabin. Lisa wished her and handed over her the schedule of Ryan for the day, Cherry went through all the schedule for the day and kept it on the table, she started entering some data on the computer when Ryan reached the office, they both got up from the chair and wished him. Ryan looked in their direction and said calmly,
"Lisa you're working really hard for the last few years and are really punctual I really appreciate your hard work and dedication, why not you take off for today and hand over all your work to Cherry."
Cherry looked at him in amusement and thought in her mind, "what I did so wrong that God is punishing me like this?"
Lisa bowed to him and without uttering a single word left the office, Cherry was stunned by Ryan's action, he looked at her and said coldly, "Bring me my coffee and schedule of today."
Cherry just bowed to him and went to the pantry to make a cup of coffee, "Why can't I add some poison in it," she thought in her mind while making coffee, she took the cup of coffee in one hand and took a diary from her desk in another hand, she knocked on the door and went inside, she put the cup of coffee on the table and looked at him, Ryan was reading e-mails on his laptop, after finishing it he got up from his chair and started walking towards the sofa, he sat on the sofa and took the cup from the table and started sipping his coffee,
Cherry started explaining all the schedule for the day, Cherry looked at him and said in a professional tone, "you have to go to YW MALL today for checking their quarter report but before that, you have to attend the quarterly meeting with all the directors of different departments, I have already kept the file on your table you can go through the details,"
"You'll come with me on the inspection in YW MALL," Ryan said firmly without looking at her.
Cherry nodded her head and left the office. Ryan was busy in the conference room while Cherry was going through some important documents when a middle-aged lady approached her, Cherry got up from her chair and bowed to her,
"How can I help you, mam?" she said with a professional smile on her face.
"I want to meet Ryan," she replied coldly.
"Do you have an appointment with him?" Cherry asked politely.
"I don't need an appointment to meet him," she stated annoyingly.
Cherry looked at the lady, she was looking very elegant in her knee-length dress, she had a beautiful figure but there was something really dark about her which can send a shiver to anyone spines, she really was having a dominating aura around her.
Cherry thought for some time and then said, "Mam, Mr Zang is in a meeting, if you don't mind will you please wait in the waiting area till he finishes his meeting,"
"How dare you to stop me to go into his cabin, I'll wait for him in his cabin," She said angrily and stormed towards his office.
Cherry was trying to stop her from entering the office when suddenly Mark came in he looked at them and then bowed to the lady, Miss Yang let her go in.
Cherry didn't say anything further and sat on her Chair, Ryan finished his meeting and came back from the conference room, he looked at Cherry and ordered her to bring tea for him, Cherry nodded her head and went to Pantry and made two cups of tea.
Cherry knocked at the door before entering the office, she put the tray on the table and was about to leave when that woman yelled, your secretary misbehaved with me, fire her, I don't want disobedient people in your office, Ryan looked at her direction angrily and said, "You can't give me the order to fire my staff. She is new and she doesn't know you."
Cherry was about to turn around when suddenly she felt cold water on her face, she looked in her direction, that lady splashed the whole glass of cold water on her, Ryan got up and rushed towards Cherry taking long steps, "what the hell? Are you fine Miss Yang?" he asked concernedly and held Cherry by her arm. Cherry pushed herself away from him and said, "I'm fine Mr Zang, you don't need to worry about me."
Cherry turned around and left the office, Ryan looked at the lady with burning eyes, "who the hell do you think you're? Who has given you the right to bully my staff in front of me?", he roared angrily.
That lady smirked evilly and said, "I'm your mother and I have the rights to teach a lesson to your disobedient staff," Ryan gritted his teeth in anger and said, "Stepmother, Mrs Zang, you're just second wife of my dead father, we don't have any relation so please be in your limit."
"How dare you misbehave with your mother, I came here to know about your whereabouts, and you are behaving like this, you know how much it hurts me when you misbehaved with me like this, at last, we are family," she replied dramatically.
"Just tell me what brings you here, how much money do you need this time and leave me alone," Ryan said irritatingly.
"One million dollar," she said and got up from the sofa.
"I'll transfer the amount into your account you can leave now," Ryan said coldly.
Cherry went direct to the bathroom and tried to dry water from her clothes, she looked at herself in the mirror full of frustration, if she wouldn't have been hiding her identity right now she would have broken her arm with whom she splashed water on her.
Cherry came out of the bathroom and walked towards her cabin. She looked at Mark who was sitting in his seat and was doing some work, she fake coughed to draw his attention towards her and asked about the lady who came in the morning, "She is Mrs Yuvna Zang, Mr Zang's mother."
Cherry didn't ask anything and started doing her work, Ryan came to her and said to clear all his schedule for the day. He further said Cherry to came with him. Cherry got up from her chair and followed him.
In the meantime Charles was still trying to figure out the message that came to his phone last night, he was trying to solve the mystery but no matter how hard he was trying he was not able to solve it, "he was thinking in his mind, who could have sent him a message like this and who wants to hurt Cherry?" he closed his eyes in frustration and held his head in his hands, suddenly he realised something and said surprisingly, "you're kidding me." he got up from the sofa took his coat and dashed out of the room.
