Chris was sitting in his office going through the last documents when he got a call from Cherry.
"Hello princess, Are you fine?", he asked anxiously.
"I'm fine. I just want to tell you that I'm going to meet my mother in the hospital.", she replied while getting into her car.
"Wait for me, I'll take you there", he replied while packing his stuff.
"I can manage Chris, I'm not a kid.", she replied annoyingly.
"Princess, try to understand it is for your safety.", Chris replied while walking towards his car.
I told you that I can manage myself. Don't treat me like I'm a weak person. I don't need you to accompany me all the time. I'll call you when I'll reach home with that she hung the call. She started the engine and drove off the car.
Cherry went to an abandoned factory, got out of the car, and went inside the factory. She went to a room where a man in a black mask was sitting. She went near him and sit opposite him.
"Have you got the information which I asked for?", she asked while putting down some documents on the table.
"Yes, Mam we did as you told us.", he replied politely.
"I don't need any type of mistake from you this time. Just keep your eyes and ears open and don't do anything reckless like last time.", she stated sternly.
"Yes, Mam.", he replied and bowed his head.
"Just keep an eye on Charles, He is capable of spoiling our plan and make sure that he is safe, we can't put his life at risk, and keep me updated about everything.", she asserted and went out of the building and got inside her car.
Cherry reached the hospital and went inside the ICU. She opened the door and went inside, to her surprise Chris was already sitting on the chair near her mother.
Chris looked at her and got up from his seat and walked towards Cherry, he held her arm and dragged her out of the room.
"Where were you?", he asked angrily.
"I had gone to finish some work.", she replied quietly.
"What type of work?", he demanded an explanation.
"Some private work.", she replied and pulled her arm out of his hand.
"If you are done with your interrogation can I go back to my mother? As I want to spend some time with her", she replied and went inside the room leaving Chris alone there.
She held her mother's hand and started caressing her head with the other hand.
Mom, I'm near to my aim. Those people are gonna pay for what they did to us mom.

She kissed her mother's forehead and got up from her seat and went out of the ICU. There was a dark air around her.
Chris was sitting in the bar and was drinking whisky. Charles entered the bar and sat beside him. He ordered his drink and looked towards Chris.
"Why have you called me here.", Charles asked coldly.
"I wanted to drink with you.", he replied plainly.
Charles choked on his drink, he started coughing. Then he looked at Chris and said, "Are you already drunk?"
"Shut up Charles, I just wanted someone to drink with me.", Chris replied and gulped his drink.
"As you wish, Chris.", Charles replied and clicked his glass with his.
They both drank a lot and passed out on the counter.
Cherry was getting ready to get into bed when she got a call from Chris's number.
Hello Chris, "Why are you calling me at this time? Are you fine?", she asked in panic.
"Mam, this person has passed out in our bar with his friend. Can you come here to take them as it's time for us too close?"
"I'm on my way, just tell me your address.", she replied while grabbing her keys.
"It's City plaza bar in XY street, Mam.", he replied and hung up the call.
Cherry got in the bar and found them totally drunk. She asked a waiter to help her to carry them to her car. She put them in the back seat and droved them to her house.
She helped them to get into her house, then she took them to the guest room and laid them there. She tucked them properly and was about to leave when Chris held her hand and pulled her towards him.

Cherry got up and went out of the room, she really felt bad for Chris, because his feelings for her were true from the beginning. Even though she only had loved Charles but still, Chris never complained about anything. He just wanted to stay by her side to help her to get out of all the difficulties, that's why after finishing her studies he gave her a job which was really difficult for freshers. He helped her to get over Charle when Charles left her without any explanation. He was always there to support her. Her heart clenched whenever she looked into his eyes.
She made a glass of whisky for herself and sat on the couch. She took out a cigarette and lit it. She knew one thing that there is no turning back for her. She has put everything at stake, she was just waiting for his next move.
Ryan reached Y City and went to his office to finish some unfinished business. He called Mark for every detail about Cherry. He was really desperate to see Cherry on her knees begging for his mercy.
