The prince was waiting for my answer, when he asked me about the stallion. I took a moment before I say to him "I agree, too much decorations" I said and he smiled.
Ismail and Shadya were escorted out of the carriage, I had seen many weddings in the past and I even witnessed mine more than two times but I never saw a bride filled with so much gold fit to drown herself into them. Even the dress Shadya wore had gold decorations and the thread used to make the dress too. She had bracelets, necklaces and anklets made of gold - and I noticed she was shoeless.
"All that gold, and yet still she doesn't have shoes..." said the prince.
Shamar turned to the prince and said to him "It's per Liham's cultural and tradition, a bride isn't supposed to wear anything until the marriage is consummate"
"Are we going to see when it's consummated?" he asked again.
