As we strolled around the city, I noticed Liham was so different from any place I have ever been. The culture was different, the language was different as so was their food and way of living. The women wore scarfs to cover their hairs and long dresses with long sleeves, that fashion of scarf and long dresses, I noticed even in the black slaves who accompanied the wealthier women only the difference was the wealthy women's fabrics were more adorned in treasures and were way more attractive than the ones worn by female slaves.
Also I realized that there weren't many male slaves around the city, perhaps most of them were out there in the field pushing stones.
"Have you noticed that there are not that much male slaves?" I asked Lee.
"Yes I have. We need a place to stay before it gets dark. Do they have inns around here?"
