It's so complicated trying to understand the weather, but maybe we are not all supposed to understand it but mainly live according to what the day chooses to give. We left Anhui when it was cold, dark and we were shaking but then as we ventured out further, the cold lessens and it was just humid and rain. I hated rains, especially when I was out on the woods. I loved rain when it was just me, my warm bed, and food brought in by servants but at this time it was just me and Lee on the same horse riding to the unknown.
He was on the front holding on the rope tied to the horse, and I was on the back holding on to him - like old times. Last night we received a heavy rainfall fit for a month in just a span of one night and it completely shattered us, worn us out and we were exhausted plus starving. However this early morning the sun came out and it was like the earth never received any bit of rain last night, as if it's been dry all seasons.
