The slaves who were given the task to deliver me to a slave owner in upstate Virginia returned back to the governor empty handed and he wasn't so happy about that. The two slaves were Richard and Pompe who were the loyal slaves inside the governor's palace. 

"You lost her? How did you lose her?" asked William Alexander Thomas the third, the man who I even thought about giving him a chance, what a shame he had to dissapoint me like that. The governor stood close to his son but he was silent and didn't say anything, he was just observing.  "Where did you lose her?" William kept on asking and before Pompe could speak up he punched him so hard on his face the poor man fell down. 

"William take it easy..." The governor told him but he didn't stop, he punched Pompe again and poor man kept falling again and again. 

"I'm sorry masa' I ain't got nothin' to do with tis, she escaped"
