My eyes were closed but I could breath, normally and without complications as if I was on the surface yet I knew I wasn't. I was at the bottom of the sea and I couldn't hear nor see anything - that was until I heard someone screaming my name, only this time it was my real name. "Mingzhu... Mingzhu, help us, help us" it said the voice and I woke up from the nightmare in haste. It didn't help the fact that I was underwater because I panicked rather than attend to the call of help.
The mermaid tail was still on my legs, as so were the gills fastened on my lungs and that's why I was breathing as if I was on the surface. "Calm down Mingzhu, calm down" I told myself trying to breath. Then after a moment I played attention to the voices calling me and swam to them. The more I was getting close to the voices, the more the pitch increased.
"Where are you? Tell me..." I said swimming towards them, looking side by side - yet it was all dark, just fishes and lagoons.
