Chapter 1 - THE FERRY MAN

Growing up Alan loved listening to horror stories. He never went to bed without listening a horror story from his mother. He loved all horror stories but the story of the ferryman was his favorite

The story about ferryman tells about a spirit who after people die offer them way to heaven and when the people agree and pay him coins for the ride he would capture them and torture their souls for eternity. Alan always thought of the story as a fantasy and didnt believe it to exist in real life.

Alan after growing up moved to a new house. This house was located in the middle of a isolated jungle with a beautiful balcony and garden. The price was really low and Alan immediately bought it. Alan moves in the house along with his dog koko. Things were going really well for the first few days until Alan opened a locked closet in his basement

The closet was filled with weird stuff and had blood prints on it. Alan although had gotten kind of scared somehow managed to ignore it and went to sleep. It was the first time since his childhood he dreamt of the ferryman. In his dream he saw the ferryman taking his soul and torturing him for eternity. Alan woke up with sweats and got terrified. He then noticed his dog was barking downstairs

He went downstairs and saw his dog looking at a tree and growling fiercely. Alan opened his door and started moving towards the tree. His dog followed making strange noises. Suddenly a loud crash was heard and Alan turned back and saw his house on fire. Alan quickly rushed towards the house to save his precious belongings. As soon as he entered the house the door behind him bolted shut. He ran upstairs when suddenly he heard a loud scream

He turned his head right and saw his dreams come true for standing right in front of him was none other than the ferryman himself. He had horns on his scray face with blood dripping from his mouth. Alan rushed towards his room and saw the ferryman standing in his room. The ferryman touched Alan head with his scythe and Alan faded.

He woke up and found himself in the middle of some ritual. There were strange people standing around him with coins instead of eyes. They seemed to be chanting some strange language which Alan didn't understand. Alan was scared out of his mind, his hands and feet were tied together. Ferryman approached from the darkness in front of him and said pay the toll or I shall take your soul. Alan started screaming from fear and the ferryman started coming closer and closer, until the ferryman raised his scythe for the final kill and said "your soul shall be mine for eternity"and bought the scythe down on Alan's head with full force. Just as the scythe was about to his head Alan found himself back on his bed. Was it all a dream asked Alan? And then it dawned upon him that yes it was a dream, a really scary one though.
