"Explain."
After hearing out her neighbour over-elaborating each and every line until the end of her conversation, Ellen and grim were now standing outside the door of her house. The only source of light was the outdoor hanging lantern.
"Explain which part? That I was walking in your neighbourhood or I was shirtless?", the woman told Ellen that one afternoon she and many other people saw the boy down the street, walking towards his car that was parked to the side of the road. Her focus was mainly on telling her that the boy was only in his pants. When Ellen excused herself from the converse of the woman, grim also went after her and the woman left.
"Well, you, pottering in a few to no clothes on is not my concern. I don't give a shit about it. But you walking shirtless around my house is evidently an intriguing talking point to my neighbours. Unfortunately, I do need an explanation from you so that I can handle the situation better if anyone asks me again."
