"Ugh...", a painful groan sounded in the hushed air of the car. Ellen tried to lift her head but leaned it back on whatever object she was leaning on, her arms coiled around a stiffened figure.
After regaining some stamina, she opened her eyes again and the first person she saw was Jeremy ogling back at her from the passenger seat. Her eyes veered towards the driver's seat where she saw Chloe's side profile. If those two were in front of her, there could be only one person by her side she was side hugging.
"What the he---ugh, my head." When she pushed herself away from grim, her head welcomed a throbbing pain.
"What happened to me?" Rubbing her temples to soothe the discomfort she asked.
