"Morning angel, feeling better?", as Chloe entered Ellen's room, she saw the girl rubbing her eyes, a small yawn making its way out of her mouth.
"The fever is gone", placing the palm of her hand on the forehead, Ellen checked her body temperature that was down to normal.
"It sure is. He spent his whole night with you from what I see taking care of you", taking the hairbrush from the dresser, Chloe made herself seated next to Ellen.
"He...", that was when the last night struck Ellen, all the moments playing in the mind one by one.
'Don't leave', her own words being revoiced. In a state of bewilderment, she switched into a vertical position, letting the previous night's scene replay by her mind.
