(I feel dumb after writing this chapter)
It was already two at the morning. Loona couldn't sleep at all, her mind was filled with lots of thoughts and regrets.
She suddenly felt like she should have given a completely fake identity of herself to the company, regret rushed through her whole body. 'How can I be this dumb?' she thought.
But at the same time the girl knew that regretting something she already deed wouldn't change anything. She had to use more part of her brain from now on. No more dumb deeds Loona. You have already done the dumbest things. People will think your iq is 50 instead of 150 which is your actual iq.
Loona came to the reality from the train of her thoughts after she felt her phone vibrating. She picked up the phone as she looked at the caller id. It was from an unknown number.
'Who can call me this late at night?' she wondered. It could be either her ex or anyone from the 'Garcia Limited'. Loona clearly remembered warning Robert to not call her again. So it was pretty obvious that it was a call from the Garcias.
She received the call. Before the girl could utter a word, the person from the other side of the call spoke.
Unknown: Loona I'm the assistant of Mr. Haneul. Call me Joanne.
Loona: Uhmm.
Joanne: Anyways, our men are at the backyard of your house. Just open the backdoor and they will hand you the contract.
And the call got cut. These people didn't even doubt if the person they called was Loona or not. Pretty smooth. Not wasting any other second Loona swiftly ran downstairs and then to the kitchen. She opened the door and there were two tall men standing there. They were wearing masks and some kinda black suit which spies were in the movies and cartoons.
Without uttering a single word, the taller man handed Loona a box, "You'll be in our eyes." Loona just nodded and as soon she got the hint to close the door by the slightly shorter yet tall man, she closed it without making any noise. Then she ran upstairs. She closed the door and sat on her bed with the box in her hands.
She opened the mysterious box which was unknowingly a little heavy. Loona's eyes widened as she opened the box.
Their was another box inside the box, but not made of cardboard like the first one. This box looked like a miraculous box created by the most genius scientists of the world from the future. After thirty seconds of admiring the box Loona picked up the gorgeous stuff. There was a key placed on the top of it. She pressed on the key and the top of the box opened without any 'Robotic noise' leaving her amazed. There was a medium sized egg placed there. Loona took it out of there and the strange thingy automatically opened. A pair of earpods and a mask was placed there, not the random ones, some futuristic ones.
Loona placed the pair of earpods at their right place, her ears. And soon she could hear the not-so-pleasent voice of none other than Haneul Garcia coming from there.
"I know you are amazed little girl. There's more for you to be amazed. You might wonder how all these things are opening automatically. It's because of your touch, yes, it's the password. No one can open these without you. I know my scientists are amazing."
This man talks too much.
"Now listen to me carefully. That mask is basically the main weapon. You can look the same as Mikayla, Jinhae's girlfriend by wearing that thing. There'll be two makeup artists for you when you'll stay at Jinhae's place. So there won't be any problem."
"Listen now girl, the contract is placed at the inside-down of the box. There's another key at the bottom. The contract is there, there are also some important information about Mikayla. Make sure to read those. And don't be too curious. Technology is at a far higher level today than you can even imagine. Bye."
Loona threw the earpods from her ears to the bed as she scoffed. What the hell this man thinks of himself? He is a genius? Well he is too dumb to tell me a lot of information. He also thinks that I'm a fool just like him?
She sighed, she now realized that all these things were too expensive including the set of earpods. It wasn't some random stuff.
The girl pulled out a small notebook and a pen from the pocket of her trouser and prepared a to-do list.
Things to do:
◯ Ask uncle Parker to make me lemon tea.
◯ Buy clothes.
◯ Gather more info about Mikayla.
◯ Discuss about these ultra scientific stuffs with Lucy.
◯ Assure Jennie that I'm not angry on her.
The next day~
"Thanks uncle," Loona smiled at Mr. Parker as she took the cup filled with her favorite lemon tea.
Parker sat on the couch beside Loona as he let out a deep sigh. And Loona didn't miss the chance to notice it.
"What happened uncle Parker?' she frowned.
"It's nothing my child, it's just….I'm worried about you. You'll at an unknown place, all alone without us. Will you be okay? This question is stuck in my head."
After hearing that, Loona immediately hugged Mr. Parker, "Nothing will happen to me you worrywart man. You guys are my family too as dad. You, Lucy, Professor Adam, Maria and the whole team is my family. And dad has been training me for ten years."
Mr. Parker couldn't help himself but smile at Loona's statement. He heaved a sigh of relief that the girl was finally mature now. Everyone from the team loved Loona, she was very adorable. All of them loved the girl like their own daughter. Loona was happy too, but she had to deal with her own problems which no one knew in this world. Not even a single soul had the idea that she was in pain deep inside.
