It was indeed beautiful outside, just like Winder Wonderland. This made the dark haired female to grin slightly as the snow drops on her hair and nose. She never really did felt cold to the extreme minus the occasional sniffles that she had, everything was at the perfect temperature.
Just as she was about to bend and pluck the blue baby's breath, a pair of arms warp around her waist, causing the female to gasp lightly before turning around to meet with the owner of the arms. She was used to the gesture and she knows exactly who was the person.
Turning around she was met with her husband icy blue eyes, the Duke of Erdune. This made Morana smile softly, giving him a small peck on his cold cheek. Seeing the intimate moment, the maids and lady-in-waiting retreat from the couple, letting the Duke take care the Lady of the house.
"You're freezing Little Lamb. I told you to out so gloves on," the man reply, stroking her cold hands in his warm one.
Morana can only smile sheepishly, knowing how he always worried about her health. How could he not? She was down with fevers and flus for the next 10 months of their marriage because of her stubborn nature of not dressing up correctly for this cold weather.
"But Dear, I won't be able to feel the snow and flowers in my hands,"
"That's what you said last time before falling sick for a few months ago,"
She laugh at the memory while he pulls her into his arms, gazing into her beautiful face. How lovely she was when her eyes regain back their life and her smile seem full unlike before. The rumours about her being damned was all lies made by the kingdom. Like him, she was also forced to hide their nature as it is their weaknesses.
True that he was known as 'The Icy Cold Duke', but that was due to the fact that many people wanted to marry him for power, money and fame. At first he thought of jer as the same as others; but how wrong he was. Morana never treated him like a bank. Instead, she will only ask money from him to be used in the household.
Oh how hard he fell for her from the moment he treated the others like her own family. Even though she lack of love in her life, she still has more space and love in her heart to give to people. This made him treated her like she was the most precious thing in his life. Indeed she has become his treasure in his life.
His thoughts were disturb as Morana colds for him couples of times.
"-aer..Dear. Are you okay?" She asked with worried gaze.
The corner of his mouth lift up as he nuzzle his cold nose against her warm cheeks. "Just got lost in your beauty. Let's go inside to warm you up. You're nose will get stuff again if you're exposed to the cold for a long time,".
With that, the Duke guide her back inside, keeping a secure hold on her waist as she watches the snow cover the place with their decoration. It's true how Erdune never stop snowing, but the beauty of it never cease to amaze her like always.
